This product is to be installed as illustrated below, to the mullion and in contact with both doors. Care
should be taken to install this product without damaging it in any way. The temperature of the frame or the
door should be above 50° F. The frame should be thoroughly cleaned removing dust, oil, grease or dirt. The
use of isopropyl alcohol is recommended. Cleansed surfaces should be allowed to dry thoroughly before
application. For best results, apply when temperatures are between 50° F and 100° F (ideally between 65° F
and 80° F). Certain paint products may cause poor adhesion. If necessary, lightly sand the painted surface and
then thoroughly clean. Secure adhesion is crucial to the proper performance of this product.
1. Clean mullion surface of all dust, oil, grease, dirt, etc.
2. Measure and cut seal to the appropriate length.
3. Remove protective backing 1 foot at a time and adhere the seal to the center of the mullion face
that the doors close against.
4. Use firm pressure along the entire length of the seal to bond the adhesive to the mullion. Do not
remove and relocate the seal. Do no stretch the seal when installing.
5. Inspect to ensure proper adhesion.
