Checkthetreadmillbeforeeveryuse.Makesureallpartsareassembled,andall
nutsandboltsaretightened.Donotusethetreadmilliftheunitisdisassembled
inanyway.
Keephandsawayfrommovingparts.
Theweightlimitforthistreadmillis300lb.(135kg).
Wearproperworkoutclothing:Donotwearlooseclothing.Donotwearshoes

Straddlethemachinewithyourfeetontherightandleftstagingplatformbefore
startingtherunningbelt.

Turnoffthetreadmillwhileadjustingorworkingneartheroller.

Workwithinyourrecommendedexerciselevel,doNOTworktoexhaustion.

Stepbystepinstructions
Thefollowingstepsexplainhowtoassembleyourtreadmill.Pleasereadeverystep
thoroughlyandfollowthedirectionscompletelytoensurecorrectassembly.
1.ThereareimportantpartsenclosedinsideoftheStyrofoam,pleasecheckthe
Styrofoamcompartmentsbeforediscarding.Makesureallpackingmaterialsare
removedfromthetreadmilldeck.
2.Laythetreadmillonitsside.Makesuretherunningbeltispositionedinthetracks
ofthetwoBELTALIGNMENTROLLERundersideofthemachine(seeFig.1).
3.Then,placethetreadmillonalevel,flatsurface.
4.Bringthesideposttotheiruprightpositions(includingthehandlebarandthe
electronicspackage).Attachthescrewstotheliftpost.Donottightenyet.(See
Fig.2)

Pleasemakesuretoconnectthewirescorrectly,RtoRandLtoLwhich
aremarkedonthewiresthemselves.
Theabovetwoscrewstothehandlebararespeciallyprovidedby
manufacturer.Donotattempttosubstituteanyotherscrew.
8.Usethescrewdrivertotightenallscrewssecurely(seeFig.6).

RUNNINGONTHETREADMILL:
Now,youhavebecomefamiliarwithyourtreadmill'soperationandarereadyto
exercise:
1.TurnthepowerswitchON,andinsertthesafetykeyintothesocketofthe
electronicspackage.
2.Straddlethebeltwithyourfeetontherightandleftstagingplatforms.Clipthe
safetykeytoyourexerciseclothingatyourwaistline.
3.Straddlethebelt,balancingonehandonthehandrail.PressSPEEDkeytostart
thetreadmill.Adjustthespeedkeyuntilyoureach1.5-2.0MPH/2.5-3.2KPH,
acomfortablewalkingspeed.Withbothhandsonthehandrails,placeonefoot,
thentheotheronthetreadmill,andwalkforafewminutestogetcomfortablewith
yourmachine.
4.Afteryouarewalkinginaneasy,relaxed,andsteadyfashion,releaseyourgripon
thehandrails,andletyourarmsswingfreelyandnaturally.
5.Whenyoufeelcomfortablewalking,youmaywishtojog.Holdthehandrailwith
onehand,usingyourotherhandtoincreasethespeed.
6.Remembertoholdthehandrailwhenusingthecontrolpanelontheelectronics
package.Holdingthehandrailwithonehandwillhelptomaintainyourbalance,
especiallywhenslowingdownorstopping.Also,remembertoholdontothe
handrailwhendismounting.
7.Whenyouhavefinishedyourworkout,removethesafetykeyfromthe"SAFETY
KEY"position.Alwaysremembertocooldownafteryourworkoutbefore

GUIDELINESFOREXERCISE
HowlongshouldIexercise?
HowoftenshouldIexercise?
Thedurationofyourexercisesessionisdependentonyourfitnesslevel.Ingeneral,
itisrecommendedthatyoumaintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzoneforatleast
10minutestorealizeanaerobicbenefit.Asyourfitnesslevelincreases,youwillbe
abletomaintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzoneforlongerperiods,usually
between20and30minutes.
Whenfirststartingyourworkout,usethefirstseveralminutestowarmup,then
slowlyincreaseyourworkloadtobringyourheartrateintoyourspecifictraining
zone.Attheendofyourworkout,graduallydecreaseyourworkload,thenexercise
lightlyasa"cooldown".
Aerobicexercises,toachievethegreatestbenefits,shouldbeperformed3-5timesa
week.Itisimportanttoallowsufficienttime,atleast24hours,foryourbodyto
recoverafterexercise.

MAINTAININGYOURTREADMILL
Yourtreadmillreliesonlowfrictionforpeakperformance.Thetreadmill'slowfriction
operationisdependentonkeepingtheunitascleanaspossible.See"Cleaningthe
Treadmill"formoreinformation.
Properbeltalignmentisalsoimportantforproperoperationofthetreadmill.See
"AdjustingtheRunningBelt"formoreinformation.
TurnoffunitanddisconnectACcordbeforecleaning.
Regularcleaningisrecommendedtokeepyourtreadmillrunningatpeak
Performance.
Beforeyourworkout,useadryclothtocleanthestagingplatform,exposedslider
deck,andunderthebeltasfarasyoueasilyreach.Thisremovesanydirtordust
whichmightenterthesliderareaandcompromisetheunit'srunningefficiency.
Tocleantheplasticparts,useamilddetergentandmakesuretheunitiscompletely
drybeforeoperating.Ontherunningsurface,useasoftnylonscrubbrush.
Donotusewatertocleanthebeltorrunningsurface,ortocleantheelectronics
package.Shouldwater,forsomereason,getontheelectronicspackage,
immediatelyblowdrytheelectronicspackage.
Itisrecommendedthatyoukeepallliquidsawayfromtheunitduringoperation.
Spillageofliquidsontoorintothemachinewillvoidthewarranty.

Adjustingtherunningbelt
CAUTION:
Yourtreadmillcomeswithabeltalignmentgaugelocatedonthedeck.(seeFig.11)
Theedgeoftherunningbeltshouldbeinthemiddleofthegreenportionofthe
gauge.Ifthebeltedgeisinthegreenarea,thebeltdoesnotneedadjusting.Ifthe
beltedgeisintheredportion,thebeltneedsadjustingimmediately.
Thebeltisproperlyalignedatthefactory.However,duringshippingandhandlingor
byuseonanunevensurface,thebeltmaymoveoffcenter.Therefore,itisimportant
thatyoucheckthebelt'salignmentbeforeusingthetreadmill.
Thecorrectalignmentoftherunningbeltiscriticalforthesmoothoperationofthe
treadmill.
DONOTALLOWANYONETOWALKONRUNNINGBELTDURING
THISPROCEDURE.
Failuretorealignthebeltcouldresultintearingorfrayingofthebelt,whichisnot
coveredinthewarranty.Pleasefollowtheadjustmentprocedurelistedbelow:
1.Turnonthepowerswitchlocatedonthefrontofmachine.InserttheSAFETY
KEYontheitsposition.
2.PresstheSPEEDkeytoincreasethespeeduntilthespeedregisters2.0mph/
