2 Description and Function

Yourautomaticnotebookpoweradapterisaspace-saving,environmentally

friendlyanduniversalswitchingpowersupplyfornotebooksandN@tbooks.It

ensuresstabilizedDCoutputanddetectstheoutputvoltageofyourdevice

automaticallyfrom15 to 19.5VDC.Theoutputvoltagecanalsobesetmanu-

ally.Thankstothewide-rangeinputof100-240V~theproductisperfectfor

worldwideuse.Integratedbackupsprotectagainstshortcircuit,overload,

overheat,overvoltageandovercurrent.Model67910 comes with additional USB

outputforsmallmobiledevicesupto1A charging current.

The Automatic Notebook Power Adapter is set to positive po-

larity and rmly equipped by DC adapter “ML“ (5.5 x 2.5 x

12.5mm). At this the supplied DC adapters can be plugged on.

5 Operating

5.1 AUTO Mode

InthissettingtheAutomaticNotebookPowerAdapterrecognizedthe

connecteddeviceandsetsoutputvoltageandcurrentoptimallytoits

operatingcondition.

The operating LED ashes blue and green after plugging into a mains socket

and shines blue for around 3 seconds before turning off and having nished

setting the correct values.

IftheoperationLEDdoesnotshine,thenotebookcouldbeinStandbymode

and is not recognized.

>> Switch on the notebook.

Notebooks with coded DC input could eventually not be operated in AUTO

mode, when they perform a performance query.

Willthenotebookbesetintostandbymodeorswitchedoff,theAutomatic

NotebookPowerAdapteralsoswitchesintostandbymode,whenthebatteryis

fullycharged.Thebatterywillnotbechargedanylongerandtheblueoperation

LED turns off.

Isitnotturningoff,thebatterywillbechargeduntilfullycharged.Afterthat,the

AutomaticNotebookPowerAdapterswitchestostandbymode.

When“wakingup“or“rebooting“thenotebook,theAutomaticNotebookPower

Adaptersearchesfortheoptimalsettingagain.

SomenotebookswillnotbechargedafterturningoffoftheblueoperationLED.

>> In this case select the MANUAL mode.

5.2 MANUAL Mode

 Inthissettingtheoutputvoltageispreset.

The operating LED ashes blue and green after plugging into a mains

voltage,markedonthenotebooksnameplateasfollows:

Does the notebook not boot caused to wrong voltage settings;

 >> SetthecorrectoutputvoltageattheAutomaticNotebookPowerAdapter.

 >> Removethenotebookbatteryforaround10secondsandreplugittoyour

notebook.

Willthenotebookbesetintostandbymodeorswitchedoff,theAutomatic

NotebookPowerAdapteralsoswitchesintostandbymode,whenthebatteryis

fullycharged.Thebatterywillnotbechargedanylongerandthegreenoperati-

on LED turns off.

Isitnotturningoff,thebatterywillbechargeduntilfullycharged.Afterthat,the

AutomaticNotebookPowerAdapterswitchestostandbymode.

6 Warranty and Liability

• Theproducergrantsa2yearswarrantytoanewdevice.

• Asthemanufacturerhasnoinuenceoninstallation,warrantyonlyapplies

 totheproductitself.

• Ifanyfaultordamageisdetectedonyourdevice,pleasecontactyourdealer

 andprovideyoursalessliporinvoiceasevidenceofthepurchase,if

 necessary.Yourdealerwillrepairthefaulteitheronsite,orsendthedevice

 tothemanufacturer.Youmaketheworkofourtechniciansconsiderably

 easier,describingpossiblefaultsindetail–onlythenyoucanbeassured

 thatfaults,occurringonlyrarely,willbefoundandrepairedwithcertainty!

• Themanufacturerisnotliablefordamagestopersonsorpropertycausedby

 improperinstallation,operationormaintenance,notdescribedinthemanual.

• Anyuseotherthandescribedinthisuser`smanualisnotpermittedand

 causeslossofwarranty,lossofguarantee,andnon-liability.

• Wereserveourrightformisprintsandchangesofthedevice,packing,or

 user`smanual.
