  • Hello! I've reviewed the installation instructions for the 8" & 10" Swing-Away Auger Hopper Joint Seal. This document provides guidance on drilling and fastening the seal rubber skirt.   • How many holes should be drilled?
    What diameter should the drilled holes be?
    What type of screws should be used to fasten the seal?
1. Drill three .203” (5.2 mm) diameter holes in the curved bottom panel of the hopper joint box.
2. Fasten the seal rubber skirt to the curved bottom panel with three 1/4” x 1/2” long self tapping
metal screws.
