INSTALLATION GUIDE
Wireless Pull Cord Module (NUWPC3–Hx)
The NUWPC3 is protected against reverse polarity of the batteries.
When batteries other than the recommended ones are used, the NUWPC3 is protected by a
thermistor (PTC). The correct working cannot be guaranteed.
3. • Place the battery pack back into the base (item 1). Lift the battery pack into the module and place it
over the small edge to keep it in place.
• Close the battery door. (item 2)
The battery pack fits only one way into the base.
When the battery pack is inserted, the 3 button LEDs will light up in sequence starting with the
top LED. This confirms that the module is working properly.
4. Check the correct working of the module: Generate a call by pulling the cord.
Only in a correctly configured system will the call generate an alarm on display devices such
as corridor lamps.
5. For new installation: Place the 2 provided screw caps over the screw holes. Orient them correctly. The
caps have a small protrusion that fits neatly into the small indentation of the module, see detail below
2.4 Removing the module
Removal of the NUWPC3 from wall or ceiling.
