Problem Possible Cause Solution
No Water Pro-
duction*
No Water Supply Ensure water supply is turned on
Insucient Pressure Use booster pump if pressure is <40psi
GAC Filter Upside Down Single gasket needs to be facing up
Clogged lters Replace lters
Fouled Membrane Replace membrane
Defective Check Valve Replace check valve
Defective Auto Shut O Replace auto shut o valve
Defective Flow Restrictor Replace ow restrictor
Obstruction In Line
Ensure valves open & no kinks in lines
Trace ow of water to pinpoint cause

Tank Not Hold-
ing Water***
No Pressure in Tank
Check pressure in tank, min. pressure
4psi, max. pressure 10psi, with tank
empty.
Defective Check Valve Replace check valve
*Water output will decrease as the tank empties and will only be a quick drip or slow
stream when the tank is empty. This is normal.
**Water will run down the drain whenever the system is lling the tank. How long it
runs depends on water pressure, lter and membrane condition, membrane size,
system conguration, and amount of water taken from the tank. Average times for
relling the tank range from 30-45 minutes for a couple glasses of water up to 4-5
hours to completely ll the tank.
***The standard tank will hold a maximum of about 3.2 gallons of water, the up-
grade tank will hold about a maximum of about 10.3 gallons of water. Actual storage
capacity may be less depending on system conguration and water pressure.
Troubleshooting
Note: To remove tubing from quick connect ttings, hold in on the small col-
let ring at the end of the tting, push this ring in towards the tting while
gently pulling out on the tubing. This releases the tubing from the tting and
it will slide out easily
