Measuring the ingredients - Max capacity of the bowl
• Thegraduated markingsontheinside ofthe bowlaregiveninliters
and cups, these are used for measuring the amount of water when
cookingrice- fig.7.
• Theplasticcupprovidedwithyourapplianceisformeasuringriceand
thetablestatesthequantityofricerequiredforthenumberofservings.
1levelmeasuringcupofriceweighsabout150g.
• Thetablebelowgivesaguidetocookingdifferentkindsofrice.Forbest
results,werecommendusingordinaryriceratherthan‘easycook’type
ofricewhichtendstogiveastickierriceandmayadheretothebase.
Withothertypesofrice,suchasbrownorwildrice,thequantitiesof
waterneedadjustmentcheckthetablebelow.
• To cook only 1 cup of white rice (serves 2 small or 1 large portion)
becausethereisn’tthemarkof1cupinthecookingpot,youshould
use1measuringcupofwhitericeandthenadd11/2measuringcupof
water.Withsometypesofriceitisnormalforalittlericetostickonthe
basewhencooking1cupofrice.Tocookotherquantityofwhiterice,
refertocookingguidebelow.
• The maximum quantity of water + rice should not exceed the 5,5 or
10 cup mark (depend on product)insidethebowl(dependonproduct)

• Slightlyrotatethebowlinbothdirections,soastoensuregoodcontact
betweenthebottomofthebowlandthehotplate.
• Checkthatthecondensationcollectoriscorrectlyplacedinposition,if
not,pleaseinstallitbypushingfirmlyintothegroove- fig.6.
• Closeandlockthelid.
• Plugintheappliance.
• Donotswitchontheapplianceuntilalloftheabovestageshavebeen
completed.
• Avoidtoswitchontheappliancewithanemptycookingbowlempty.
• Donottouchtheheatingplatewhentheproductisplugged.
Never place your hand on the steam vent during cooking, as there is
a danger of burns. Never use the lid handle to transport the product
when it is full.
Only use the inner pot provided with the appliance. Do not pour water
or put ingredients in the appliance without the bowl inside.
RICE COOKING
