All Battery Packs
WARNING:
Read all safety warnings and all instructions for the battery pack and charger
bace. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
seriousinjury.

Donotchargeorusethebattery pack/productinexplosiveatmospheres,suchasinthepresence
of flammable liq uids, gases or dust
. Inserting or removing the battery pack from the charger may
ignite the dust or fumes.

NEVER force the battery pack into the vacuum. DO NOT modify the battery pack in any way to fit
as battery pack may rupt ure causing serious pers onal injury.
Consult the chart at the end of this
manual for compatibility of batteries and chargers.

Recharge only with the charge r specified by the manufacture r.

DO NOT splash or immerse in water or other liquids.

. For best life, store product in a cool,
dry location.
NOTE: Do not store product with the trigger switch locked on. Never tape the trigger switch in the
ON position.

Do not incinerate the battery pack/product even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn
out
. The battery pack can explode in a fire. Toxic fumes and materials are created when lithium ion
battery packs are burned.
•
Ifbatterycontentscome intocontactwiththe skin, imme diately wash area with mild soap and
water.
If battery liquid gets into the eye, rinse water over the open eye for 10 minutes or until
irritation ceases.
•
Contents of opened battery cells may cause respiratory irritation.

battery pack case is cracked or damaged, do not insert into the charger. Do not crush, drop or
damage the battery pack. Do not use a battery pack or charger that has received a sharp blow,
been dropped, run over or damaged in any way (e.g., pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer,
stepped on). Damaged battery packs should be returned to the service center for recycling.
Transportation
WARNING:
Fire
hazard.Do not store orcarrythe battery pack sothat metalobjects can
contact exposed battery terminals. For example, do not place the battery pack in aprons,
pockets, tool boxes, product kit boxes, drawers, etc., with loose nails, screws, keys, etc.
Transporting batteries can possibly cause fires if the battery terminals inadvertently come in
contactwithcon ductivematerialssuchaskeys,coins,handtoolsandthelike

DepartmentofTransportationHazardousMaterialRegulations(HMR)actuallyprohibit
transportingbatteriesincommerceoronairplanesincarry-onbaggageUNLESStheyare
properly protected from short circuits. So when transporting in d ividu a l battery packs, makesure
that the battery terminals are protected and well insulated from materials that could contact
themandcauseashort circuit.
Recycle Battery
Local, state or federal laws may prohibit disposal of batteries in ordinary trash. Consult your local
waste authority for information regarding available recycling and/or disposal options.
Important Safety Instructions for All Battery Chargers
•
DO NOT attempt to charge the battery pack with any chargers other than the ones in this m anual.
The charger and battery pack are specifically designed to work together.
•
Do not expose the charger to rain or snow.
•
Donot use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary
.Useof improperextensioncord
could result in risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution.
•
Do not place any object on top of the product or place the prod uct on a soft surface that might
block the ventilation slots and result in excessive internal heat.
Place the product in a position away
from any heat source. The charger is ventilated through slots in the top and the bottom of the
housing.
•
Donot disassemble the product; take itto an authorizedservice center when service orrep air is
required
. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock, electrocution or fire.
•
Disconnect the charger from the ou t let before attem ptingany cleaning.This will reduce the risk of
electric shock.
Removing the battery pack will not reduce this risk.
•
Applying un-rechargeable battery will cause machine malfunctions.
•
If the vacuum requires cleaning, unplug the adaptor, switch off the unit and take out the battery. Do
not use cleaners or solvents to clean the exterior of the vacuum. Use only a damp or dry cloth.
•
The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery.
•
To extend the battery life, we suggest to keep the product being always charged when not in use.
Recharge the vacuum as soon as possible following use; waiting several days can damage the
battery.
•
If you plan not to use the vacuum over 6 months, please fully charge the battery then turn off the
power and remove the battery from the vacuum cleaner and store it separately. It's recommended to
fully recharge the battery (in the vacuum cleaner) every 3 months to activate the battery capacity.
•
Thecharger is designed tooperateon stand ard 120V household electrical power. Donot attempt
to use it on any other voltage.
This does not apply to the vehicular charger.
