INTERVAL:
1.Whenyouturntheuniton,theelectronicspackagewilldisplay"USER0".The
unitbeginswith"LEVEL1."Ifthisiswhereyouwanttostart,simplypressENTER
andbeginpedalingthebike.
2.TheSportsArt508Phas20tensionlevels,withLEVEL1beingtheeasiest,and
LEVEL20beingthehardest.Tochangelevelsatanytimeduringyourworkout,
simplypressthekeystoswitchtoyourdesiredtensionlevel.
3.TheSportsArt508Phasfiveusers(Users0-4),andtheelectronicspackagewill
holdtheUserdatayouenterintoit,notforUser0.ToenterUSERinformation,
presstheUSERkeyfortheUSERnumberyouprefer.
1.PresstheMANUALkey,andonelevellinewillappearinthedisplay.Inthe
MANUALMode,youcansetoneofthefollowing:TIME,DISTANCEor
CALORIES(butnotmorethanone).PresstheMODEkeytoselectoneofthe
three,thenusethekeystosetyourdesiredworkoutlength,distanceor
caloriesburned,thenpressENTER.
2.Afteryouhavesettheabove,begintopedalandyourworkoutinformationwillbe
retainedandappliedtoyourworkout.Ifyoustoppedaling,thepackagewill
displayPEDALtoremindyou.Ifyoudonotbegintopedalwithinthreeminutes,
theelectronicspackagewillautomaticallyRESET.
3.Theelectronicspackagewillautomaticallycountdownfromyourdesiredsetting,
BEEPwhenyourworkoutisfinished,andbegintheCOOLDOWNperiod.
Ifyouwanttorepeatyourworkout,justpressENTERandcontinuepedaling.
1.TheIntervalWorkoutModeallowsyoutodesignyourownpersonalizedworkout
program.Youspecifythetensionanddurationforeightworkoutsegments,then
the508Pwillcyclethroughtheseuntilyourdesiredtimeisreached.
2.PresstheINTERVALkey,andtheelectronicspackagewilldisplaySEG1.For
SEG.1,justpressENTERseparatelyafteryouselectyourdesiredtimeand
tension.ThenSEG2willappearintheLCDdisplay,allowingyoutochoosethe
desiredtensionandtimeformoresegments.
3.ForSegments2-8,pleaserefertotheinstructionsabove.Onceallsegmentsare
set,pressENTERatatime,andyourownpersonalizedprogramwillberecorded.
Ifyouonlywanttosetfoursegments,forinstance,leavesegments5-8withthe
desiredtimeofzero,andthebikewilluseonlyyourdesiredfoursegments.
4.WhileyouareusingtheINTERVALprogram,youmaychangethetensionby
pressingthekeysatanytimeduringyourworkout.
