1 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This symbol indicates CAUTION. Seri-
ous personal injury and/or damage to
property may result if the instructions
are not followed carefully.
You must read these instructions for use
and the machine’s safety instructions
and instructions for use carefully before
starting.
Please read through these instructions carefully.
Learn all the controls and the correct use of the
unit.
Carefully read and understand the safety in-
structions supplied in a separate book together
with the machine.
No one must be between the accessory and the
machine when attaching.
The driver and assistant must always be in visu-
al contact during attachment.
The accessory must never be used if it shows
any mechanical damage or oil leakage.
Be careful when connecting hydraulic hoses.
Check the machine’s hydraulic system is not
pressurised before connecting. Risk of extreme-
ly dangerous oil spray while under high pres-
sure. Risk of eye injury.
2 DESCRIPTION
The accessory is intended for use on GGP’s Titan
machines.
The accessory can be raised, lowered and tilted
forwards and backwards by means of the hydrau-
lics which are controlled from the driving seat of
the machine.
The accessory weighs 54 kg.
The dimensions of the different angles are given in
fig. 1-3.
3 ASSEMBLY
3.1 Mechanical connection
Also refer to the machine’s instructions for use.
1. Lower the tool lift and slowly drive the machine
straight towards the accessory. Note the align-
ment through the viewing grille in the ma-
chine’s floor.
2. Raise the tool lift to the transport position when
the pins in the tool lift correspond with the holes
in the accessory.
3. Lower the tool lift so that the accessory touches
the ground without the pins leaving the holes.
4. Raise the tool lift so that the accessory is just off
the ground.
5. See fig. 4. Install the locking pins. The left lock-
ing pin is described below. The right locking pin
is installed in the same way, but mirror imaged.
A. Insert the locking pin from the outside.
B. Press the locking pin down over the lifting
beam.
3.2 Connecting the hydraulic hoses
Check the machine’s hydraulic system
is not pressurised before connecting the
hydraulic hoses. Risk of extremely dan-
gerous oil spray while under high pres-
sure.
Check that all connectors are clean be-
fore connecting. Contaminants in the
hydraulic oil cause serious damage to
the hydraulic system.
Neutralise any overpressure in the machine’s hy-
draulic system by moving all hydraulic controls
forward and backwards several times with the en-
gine stopped.
See fig. 5. Clean all connectors that are to be con-
nected.
Connect the hydraulic hoses to socket L on the ma-
chine. After connection, the accessory is operated
according to the table below.
3.3 Disconnecting the hydraulic
hoses
Check the machine’s hydraulic system
is not pressurised before disconnecting
the hydraulic hoses. Risk of extremely
dangerous oil spray while under high
pressure .
Stop the engine. Neutralise any overpressure in the
machine’s hydraulic system by moving all hydrau-
lic controls forward and backwards several times.
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the machine
output.
Install the plugs on the hydraulic outputs.
3.4 Mechanical disconnection
Mechanical disconnection is the connection de-
scribed above in reverse.

Check that the hydraulic cylinders are sealed.
Check that there are no cracks in the accessory,
along the hydraulic cylinder mountings or in
other locations.
4.2 Lubrication
The accessory’s mechanical joints must be lubri-
cated with universal grease after 25 hours of oper-
ation and before long term storage.
The accessory has 4 grease nipples in the follow-
ing locations. The grease nipples are shown in fig.
6.
