1. About the Product
This product is the AC adapter for input: 100 - 240VAC and output: +24VDC 2.5A.
2. Product Configuration
This product consists of the items listed below.

*1 This AC power cable is for the voltage of the 100VAC or less. When using in Japan,
please use the included AC power cord. It might be necessary to get a particular cable
to match the power voltage or outlet shape that you are using. In that case, use a
sheathed cable (double insulation structure).

Handling Precautions
WARNING
Do not use the product in locations exposed to a flammable or corrosive gas. It may
cause explosion, fire, electrical shock, or malfunction.
If you sense abnormality (smoke, odor, or noise), immediately unplug the power cord
from the wall outlet and contact the CONTEC sales representative or sales office.
To avoid electrocution do not use the product with a wet hand.
Be sure to connect the product to the stipulated power supply voltage. Connecting to a
different voltage might cause a fire or electrical shock.
Do not use the product with the other power device. It may cause fire or malfunction.
When the cable or main body is damaged, stop using and repair it immediately. Using it
as it is may cause fire, electrical shock or malfunction.
Never disassemble or modify the product or replace its parts in order to prevent electrical
shock, fire, or malfunction. CONTEC reserves the right to refuse servicing the product
modified by the user. When any part of the product needs to be replaced at the expira-
tion of its life or due to breakdown, please contact the CONTEC sales representative or
sales office.
Use the product with the specified models by the CONTEC. Not doing so may cause fire
or malfunction.
Use the product in the specified operating condition (temperature and humidity)
CAUTION
Do not use or store the product in a location exposed to extremely high or low
temperature or susceptible to a rapid temperature change.
Example: - Exposure to direct sun - In the vicinity of a heat source
When unplugging the cable, hold the plug. Holding and pulling the cable itself can cause
a failure such as discontinuity.
The bundled AC power cable can only be used with the bundled AC adapter.
To clean the product, wipe it gently with soft cloth damp with either water or mild
detergent. Do not use chemicals or a volatile solvent, such as benzene and thinner, to
prevent peeling or discoloration of the paint.
When transporting the product, provide adequate measures to protect it from vibration
or shock.

Storage
When storing this product, keep it in its original packing form.
Wrap it in the packing material, and then put it in the box.
Store the package at room temperature at a place free from direct sunlight, moisture,
shock, vibration, magnetism, and static electricity.
Usage environment
It is expected that you will use this product in a comparatively good environment.
If you will use it in a harsh environment or if you require a long service life from it, we ask
that you separately prepare a power supply that fits your application.
If the AC adapter fails, CONTEC will replace it with an equivalent product (a charge may be
applied to the replacement).
Also, note that we cannot provide analyses of failure causes.
Disposal
When disposing of the product, follow the disposal procedures stipulated under the
relevant laws and municipal ordinances.
4. Using method
1. Make sure that the AC power cable is not plugged into a wall outlet.
2. Connect the AC power cable to the main body of AC adaptor.
3. Connect the DC cable of AC adaptor to the power supply destination.
4. Plug the AC power cable into a wall outlet.
This product has no power switch. When turning off, unplug the AC power cable from
the wall outlet.
