This document is intended for system integrators. System integrator is a term applied to skilled

and software applications to operate as a coordinated whole in compliance with the applicable

regulations.

technology, particularly in knowing the various energies and energy magnitudes used in the equipment.

1.3.1 Power supply safety instructions

WARNING

Risk of electric shock. Failure to supply power correctly could result in death or serious

injury, and could damage the equipment or other property.

1.3.1.1 What to do before you supply power to the product

Before you supply power to the product, obey the following safety instructions:

lMake sure that you have understood any instructions for safety, installation, and for operation

lMake sure that your hands are dry

1.3.2 Battery safety instructions

WARNING

If the battery is used incorrectly it can explode, leak, and can cause injury.

To avoid these risks, refer to "What to do before you supply power to the product" on the

previous page.

1.3.2.1 How to safely use the battery

To safely use the battery, obey the instructions that follow:

lObey the battery manufacturer's instructions for safety

lReplace the battery only with correct size and type

lInsert the battery with the plus (+) and minus (-) terminals aligned correctly

lDo not recharge the battery

lDo not disassemble the battery

lDo not put the battery in short-circuit

lDo not discard the battery in fire

lTo discard the used battery, refer to the local laws and regulations.

1.3.3 Wireless safety instructions

Install the product's antennas with care:

1. Make sure that the antennas are at least 20 cm away from nearby persons

2. Make sure that the equipment (product with antennas installed) do not cause interferences with

other electronic devices.

If you cannot obey these instructions, make sure that the equipment is assessed to be compliant with the

SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) regulations.

1.3.4 Product handling safety instructions: product's surfaces may be hot

CAUTION

If the product is used at high temperatures, its surfaces become hot. Burn hazard.

3.1 Product description

The ReliaCOR 44-11 is a versatile platform that offers a very balanced combination of computational

performance, storage capacity and network bandwidth for workloads that include data acquisition and

fusion, Ai inference and data logging.

Designed for Industrial use cases, it offers reliable operation thanks to industrial grade ruggedization

and a robust power supply. Very compact and power efficient, the ReliaCOR 44-11 can be deployed in

dense installation; an optional mounting accessory further increases its versatility. User-serviceable

filters offer the convenience of protection from airborne pollutants, such as dust and particulate, which

are often found in industrial applications.

The ReliaCOR 44-11 features a top-of-line Intel® Core i7 CPU, to deliver power efficient computational

crunch, and provides AI acceleration thanks to a high-end NVIDIA® A2 GPU. Connection to the factory

floor IP network and sensors is enabled by four 10 GbE and two GbE interfaces: use cases requiring

fieldbus interfaces towards assts (such as CAN/ CAN-FD, isolated RS-232/422/485) are optionally

available as a professional service.

The ReliaCOR 44-11 is also a capable storage server, supporting two removable bays for 2.5″ SATA

drives in RAID 0/1 configurations to provide high speed data recording and to offer extra protection to

valuable information.

The ReliaCOR 44-11 comes with Everyware Software Framework (ESF), a commercial, enterprise-

ready edition of Eclipse Kura, the open source Java/OSGi middleware for IoT Edge Gateways.

Distributed and supported by Eurotech, ESF supports ready-to-use field protocols (including Modbus,

OPC-UA, S7), MQTT connectivity, web-based visual data flow programming and deep configuration.

ESF is also integrated with Everyware Cloud (EC), Eurotech IoT Integration Platform (separately

available), enabling advanced diagnostics, provisioning, and full remote device access and

management.

Eurotech configuration management service allows fine tuning the ReliaCOR 44-11 to meet and exceed

your project requirements; examples of personalized configurations include customer branding (with

custom logo and colors) and can go to deep customization with a range of option for project specific

requirements (such as grabbers, choice of internal components, etc.): call us for more information on

3.2 Intended use and not allowed uses of the product

The product is intended for professional use and must be installed by qualified personnel only.

The product must be installed in a secured location, accessible to authorized personnel only

(for example in a cabinet / technical compartment).

3.2.1 Intended use

The ReliaCOR 44-11 is a versatile platform that offers a very balanced combination of computational

performance, storage capacity and network bandwidth for workloads that include data acquisition and

fusion, Ai inference and data logging.

The ReliaCOR 44-11 must:

lBe installed in a secured location, only accessible to authorized personnel (for example in a

cabinet/ technical compartment), and not exposed to atmospheric agents.

To allow the correct cooling of the product, make sure to keep a sufficient clearance all around the

product (at least 50 mm)

lBe used indoors, in industrial and automation applications

lBe used with appropriate interconnecting and power cables

lBe used with an external DC power supply source that:

omust meet the requirements stated on the identification label of the product

omust deliver at leas a power of 400 W

3.3.1 Note about the NVIDIA® A2 GPU board

An NVIDIA® A2 GPU board is installed in the product variant -03 only.

In this case, an additional air duct is installed in the product to cool down the GPU board.

The NVIDIA® A2 GPU is preset to 40 W.

3.3.2 Note about the Intel® X710-T4 network card

An Intel® X710-T4 Ethernet network card is installed in the product variant -03 only.

In this case, the network card makes available a 4x10Gbit Ethernet network function.

The 4x RJ-45 connectors are located on the slot bracket of the network card.

3.4 Optional accessories

3.4.1 Air filter

The optional air filter on the back of the case can be changed by loosening the two screws.

If the product is equipped with an NVIDIA® A2 card, this air filter is placed only on the fan that cools the

motherboard.

Clean/replace this air filter according to the maintenance schedule.

3.4.2 WLAN/Bluetooth module

A WLAN/Bluetooth module can be optionally installed in the M.2 key E slot.

The antenna connectors for this module are located on the front side of the product.

3.4.3 LTE/GNSS(GPS) module

An LTE/GNSS(GPS) module can be optionally installed. This is connected internally via USB. The

antenna connectors are located on the front side of the product.

This product is CE marked and complies with the essential requirements and other

relevant requirements of the directives reported in the following sections.

Eurotech does not approve the use of this product with equipment (for example: power

supplies, personal computers, etc.) that is not CE marked and that is not compliant with

the requirements specified in this User's manual.

4.1.1 Safety

This product complies with the standard IEC EN 62368-1 on the safety requirements in information and

communication technology equipment.

This product also complies with the directive 2014/35/EU on the harmonization of the laws of the

Member States relating to the making available on the market of electrical equipment designed for use

within certain voltage limits.

4.1.2 RoHS 3 compliance

This product complies with the following Directives:

4.1.4.1 The WEEE label

This symbol, placed on the product, indicates that the product at the end of its life cycle

must be sent to separate collection facilities for recovery and recycling. Because of the
