Connect the Charger
Plug the power adapter cable into the charger, plug the other end into the wall jack and switch the power on.
NOTE
The distance in which you place the charger could have an effect on the range and performance of your FS2605A handset.
Install the battery
NOTE
You can skip steps 1 and 2 for the first time you install the battery after you purchased this product, since the battery
compartment cover has already been separated.
Push the cover downward from the upper side.
Pull the cover outward from the lower side.
Insert the supplied battery pack into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity.
Slide the battery cover back over the battery compartment until it clicks into place.
Put the handset on the base or charger to charge for at least 15 hours for the first time. A double beep sounds when
the handset is properly placed on the base or charger.
NOTE
Use only the 2.4V NiMH rechargeable battery pack provide.

Registering an Additional Handset
The FS2605A additional handset must be registered to the FS2615A/FS2615-2A/FS2615-3A telephone base before
use. When first purchased, each expansion handset displays REGISTER. The new handset should be charged
without interruption for at least 30 minutes before registering it to the telephone base. To register the additional
handset to your FS2615A/FS2615-2A/FS2615-3A, follow the instructions below.
To register a handset:
Press and hold on the base station for about five
seconds, until the base station LED light flashes. The
base station is entered into registration mode.

to select REGISTRATION.
Press and you are requested to enter the 4-digit
system PIN (default: 0000).
Enter the 4-digit system PIN and press to confirm.
NOTES
If the handset registration is successful, the handset will
automatically be allocated the next available handset
number. This handset number is shown in the handset
display in standby mode. If the handset registration is
unsuccessful, the
will still flash.
If the handset registration is not successful, the handset
will beep twice and return to idle mode, and then show
REGISTER again.
