be disassembled to facilitate proper recycling of it’s
individual parts. Consult your dealer or relevant public
authority regarding drop-off points for collection of WEEE.
For the grounding of the coax connection, equal ground
potential must be ensured. To be installed by trained
personnel.

This X-PORT 3G-SDI Adapter is expanding the connectivity of the projector to support SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI sources. This will
enable the projector to show high quality pictures over a digital interface.
The X-PORT 3G-SDI module can also support stereo 3D sources when used in combination with X-PORT DCC120 (picture 2).
Cable lenghts up to 100 meters (300 ft) are supported on 3G-SDI sources.
Update the projectors software before attaching the X-PORT module. The software is easily available from our web site.

connecting the module
Locate X-PORT 2 on your projector (right hand side - see picture 2). Make sure that both the projector and the source have mains
disconnected and are switched off before attaching the X-PORT module. Refusing to follow these instructions may damage both the
projector and the X-PORT module.
Fit the X-PORT module to the connector on the projector using the guiding pins, and press into place. Fasten the four retainer screws
(see picture 1), using a screwdriver. Take care not tightening the screws too hard as this may damage the threads.

connecting sources
The X-PORT 3G-SDI adapter has two inputs - A and B. Both inputs have a primary (1) and a secondary/back-up connector (2).
For general use attach cables to the primary input. The secondary input may be used for redundancy (fallover).
The X-PORT comes delivered with protection caps mounted on each port. Keep the caps on the ports which are not used. When the
cables have been connected, you can power up the projector and source equipment again.

indicator lamps
The X-PORT adapter has one LED indicator above each connector (picture 1). Theese indicators are illuminated in green when an active
source is detected. If both primary (1) and secondary (2) connector is in use, only the LED-indicator above the active connector will be
illuminated.
