INSTRUCTION MANUAL
PLEASE READ AND RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Create professional looking training booklets, business reports, projects, test reports and much
more. The TM200 can bind an impressive 200 sheets at the one time and features a a buzzer sound
to alert you that the binding process has been completed. The binder is ready to get to work after 3
minutes and takes a mere 80 seconds to complete a binding cycle. It’s max entry width of 320mm is
enough to create beautifully bound A4 booklets for your next project, meeting or presentation.
Pair the TM200 with our model TMP40 thermal binding pouches to create handy 30-page maximum
booklets.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the
risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons including the following:
1. The binder is only intended for private/domestic and small office use. Any other uses not
recommended by the manufacturer may result in the warranty being void
2. Remove the binder from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good condition before
using. Keep the packaging for storage and transportation.
3. This binder is not intended for use by persons, including children, with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the binder by a person responsible for
their safety.
4. Extreme caution is necessary when children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities may come into contact with the binder when in use.
5. Never attempt to open and service the unit. There are no user serviceable parts inside the
unit.
6. Repair work on the unit must be completed by a qualified/authorised electronics repairer.
7. Un-authorised repair work done to the unit will void any warranty.
8. Use only the covers as stated with the right thickness and size. Using the incorrect covers
can negatively affect the binding quality.
9. Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the binder is plugged, is in accordance
with the rating label on the binder and that the socket is earthed.
10. The units surface will be hot during operation. Ensure children are supervised and do not
play with the unit.
11. The binder is designed for indoor use only.
12. Never bind heat sensitive material with this machine, such as thermal fax paper.
13. Prevent spilling any liquids onto or inside the binder.
14. Never attempt to force any metallic items or your fingers into the binder.
PARTS:
BINDING GUIDE:
1. Plug the unit into an earthed wall power point.
2. Turn on the power switch. The power switch is located on the rear of the unit. The RED
power indicator light will be on.
3. Wait for the YELLOW ready indicator light to come on. This can take up to 3 minutes for the
unit to be ready for binding.
4. Insert your papers (to be bound) into the cover you want to use, ensuring that you have
chosen the correct sized cover.
5. Insert the pouch, with the papers added, closed end first into the paper inlet.
The built in paper clamp will help to hold the paper stack upright.
6. Press the START button once. The GREEN done indicator light will start blinking.
7. Upon completion of the binding cycle, the buzzer will sound and the GREEN indicator light
will stop blinking.
8. Withdraw the binded paper stack from the unit and leave it in the cooling rack for 10
minutes. Inadequate cooling will cause loose pages.
9. The binded cover may still be hot when removed from the unit. Take care when handling.
10. Repeat steps 3 onwards for subsequent bindings.
AUTO OFF:
1. The unit features an auto-off protection to prevent the cover becoming overheated.
2. Once the binding cycle is complete and the buzzer sounds, the auto-off protection is
activated.
3. If the START button is not pressed after approximately 10 minutes after the previous cycle,
the power will be turned off to prevent overheating.
4. To restore the unit’s operation, turn off the main switch and then the machine on again.
BASIC MAINTENANCE:
1. To clean the unit, use a soft damp cloth to wipe down the outer casing.
2. Never apply any paint thinners, benzenes or chemicals.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
SYMPTOMS
SOLUTION
No power.
Indicator lights do not light
up.
No operation.
Ensure the plug has been plugged into the power socket
correctly and that power socket is turned on.
Loose pages
If loose pages are found after the binding cycle, repeat the
binding process holding the paper stack firmly downwards.
