Please follow instructions below to install the kit for iPod onto the T672 treadmill.
1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED)
STEP 1 Open the Display
(a) First, remove screws from the display lower cover.
(b) Open the display upper cover carefully to avoid disconnecting cables. Disconnect
the USB cable connection, and set the display upper cover flat on the handles.

STEP 2 Prepare to Install the Decoder Board
(a) Carefully cut off the zip tie.
(b) In area A, remove the small cover. In area B, secure the guide wheel (A7) with the
screw (A6) and washer (A9).

STEP 3 Install the Decoder Board
(a) Insert the three cables (that were disconnected earlier) to connectors on the top of
the decoder board for iPod (A1). Insert connector cable (A3) to the bottom of the
decoder board for iPod (A1). Route the connector cord for iPod (A3) around the
column as shown. On the marked area of the heat shrink wrap secure a zip tie
(A4). Use screw (A5) to secure the decoder board (A1) into place on the display
upper cover. Then use screw (A6) to secure the spring end of the connector cable.
On the iPod connector end install cable clip (A8) and secure it into place with a
screw. Note: The marked end of the cable belongs on top. The small cable clip
faces up, and the large clip faces down.

STEP 3 Install the Decoder Board (Continued)
(b) Secure the small cover in area . Then, in area , collect the three cables on top
of the decoder board as neatly as possible, and use a zip tie (A4) to secure them
into place. Make sure that these cables do not interfere with operation of the guide
wheel.
Insert the USB cable to the board on the back cover while making sure not to
pinch any cables.
(d) Finally, close the upper cover and secure its screws.

Please connect the iPod device to the connector cable for iPod. Insert earphones into
the earphone jack on the product as shown.
Press the play key on the iPod device to select songs. Press the “Vol +/-” key on the
treadmill to adjust music volume.
The battery in the iPod device recharges when connected to the fitness product.
Note: Third generation or newer iPod products have USB recharge capability.
To operate an iPod device on the CardioActive™ Entertainment System, refer to the
CardioActive™ Entertainment System owner's manual.

period of 60 days after purchase: parts, no labor. The customer is responsible for
proper installation. SportsArt's obligation is limited to replacing parts or providing
reimbursement, at the sole discretion of SportsArt Fitness. In the event of a
malfunction, the purchaser is responsible for the return of the original option kit for
iPod to SportsArt Fitness at his/her expense before replacement or reimbursement
can be provided. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Under no
circumstances shall SportsArt Fitness be liable by virtue of this limited warranty or
otherwise for damage to any person or property in excess of the purchase price of
this optional device, or for any special, indirect, incidental, secondary or
consequential losses, damages or expenses. Some states do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or
exclusion may not apply to you.
