ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

To avoid possible damage to this Fitness Cycle,
please follow these assembly instructions.
Carefully remove all its parts from the box,
lay them out and review the parts list.

Step 1 • Rear Foot
1: Secure the Rear Foot Assembly (11) to the frame using the 4 Rear Foot
Attachment Allen Bolts (805).

Step 2 • Seat and Seat Post
1: Slide the Seat Post (10) through the Rubber Seat Post Cover (606) and into
the frame Seat Post receiver tube. The Seat Post numbers should be facing
the right or seat pin side of the Fitness Cycle.
2: Attach the Seat (705) to the Seat Post (10) NOTE: These Seat Clamp
nuts should be tightened alternately (see illustration);
A: First snug one nut, then the other.
B: Partially tighten one nut, then the other.
C: Finally, fully tighten one nut, then the other.
DO NOT TIGHTEN ONLY ONE SIDE.
3: To avoid scratching the Seat Post paint, always hold the Seat Pin Knob out
when adjusting the Seat Post height. Turn the inner knob clockwise to lock
in place.

Step 3 • Console Mast and Top Cap
1: Remove the Top Cap Screws (618) that hold the Top Cap (616) to the Frame.
Remove the Top Cap (616).
NOTE: The two Phillips head bolts (14) in front of the Top Cap (616) are for mounting the
waterbottle cage. Sliding the Top Cap (616) on or off with the waterbottle cage bolts (14) fully
threaded in, can scratch the paint on the Console Mast (9).
2: Locate the Sensor Wire (503) that is folded into the Frame. Unfold and attach the end of the
Sensor Wire (503) to the bottom end of the string inside the Console Mast (9). You will use this
string to pull the Sensor Wire (503) through the Console Mast (9).
3: Holding the Console Mast (9) above the frame, insert the Lower Tension Cable (66) into the
Console Mast (9), and pull the Sensor Wire (503) through the Console Mast (9) while
simultaneously sliding the Console Mast (9) into the Frame.
4: Lift the Top Cap (616) and install the two Console Mast Allen Bolts (806) and tighten.
5: Slide the Top Cap back into place. Make sure that the back end of the Top Cap (616) is nested
fully into the Seat Cap groove. Secure the Top Cap (616) by threading two Top Cap screws
(618) back into the front holes and a single Top Cap Screw (618) into the rear hole.

Step 5 • Pedals
1: Attach the left and right Pedal Straps (90) to the matching pedals (706).
The Straps are marked L and R for Left and Right.
2: Thread pedals into the correct crank arm and tighten.
NOTE: It is very important to FULLY TIGHTEN each pedal using a long
wrench. Failure to do so will result in loosening and NOISE.

Step 4 • Handlebars
1: Bolt the Handlebars (119) to the Console Mast using the two Allen Bolts
(805) and Lock Washers (804).

Step 6 • Cable Connection
1:
Locate the Tension Knob (623) and Upper Tension Cable (130). Turn the
Tension Knob (623) to position 1. Reach inside the opening of the
Console Mast (9) and connect the Upper Tension Cable (130) to the
Lower Cable (66) hook-slide on the end of the Lower Magnet Shift Cable
(66), as shown in the accompanying illustrations.
2:
Insert the Cable (130) through the slot and draw the Lower Tension Cable
(66) with the Metal Bracket (131) into the metal bracket notch (131) and
insert the Upper Cable (130).
3:
Push the Cable (130) into the Console Mast (9). Insert the Tension Knob
(623) assembly to the Console Mast (9). Attach Bolt (624) through the
front of the Console Mast (9) and tighten down the Tension Knob (623)
assembly.
E3000 Final Assembly
Step 7 • Console
1:
Plug the RPM Sensor Wire (503) into the Console (504). DO NOT PINCH the RPM Sensor Wire
between the Console (504) and the Console Mast (9). Make sure the Sensor Wire fits in the slot
cut in the Console Mast Mount.
2:
Mount the Console (503) to the Console Mast (9) using the two Console Attachment Bolts found
in the back of the Console.
Step 8 • Install Batteries and Test Operation
1:
Remove the battery compartment lid on the back of the Console (503) and install the Batteries.
Two AA Batteries are required.
2:
Test ride the bike and make sure that all console feedback functions are operational.
