SV9300 TELEPHONE USER GUIDE
1. Handset - Used for sending/receiving voice
2. Exit - Exit from a screen mode by pressing this key
3. Speaker - Originate a call with hands free
4. Dial Key Pad - Dial the called party number of feature access
code
5. Hold - Place a call on hold
6. Transfer - Allows the user to transfer established calls to another
user
7. Speaker Key (with light) - Control the built-in speaker for hands
free dialing or monitoring
8. Cursor - Access various features with simple operation. Use the
“Up” or “Down” key to scroll to the item
9. Menu - Access the Menu of terminal
10. Mic Key (with light) - Respond hands free. LED lights during
speakerphone operation
11. Feature Key (with light) - Activate features such as terminal
setup and to program one-touch speed calling keys.
12. Answer Key (with light) - When THE LED on this key is lit, press
this key to answer the incoming call
13. Recall Key - Finish a call and hear the dial tone to make another
call
14. Programmable Keys - These keys can be programmed as flexible
line key/programmable (with light) feature key by system
administrator.
15. Soft Keys - The feature name is shown at the bottom of the LCD.
The appropriate feature key is displayed on the screen according
to the call handling process.
16. Help - Call up explanations of the soft keys on the LCD
17. USB Port (Back) - Connect USC device for charging, etc.
18. LCD - Display date or dialed number, etc.
19. Call Indicator Lamp - When using VOICEMAIL, the lamp lights
when a message has been left

SHORTCUT MENU
To Display the Shortcut Menu press the middle of the CURSOR key. The following items are included in the Shortcut Menu.

1. Missed Calls Access to history of missed calls
MENU LIST
To the Display Menu List, press the MENU key. Use the Cursor Key to select desired Menu Item or press the number that corresponds with the
action you wish to perform.
Feature Description
1. Call History View Incoming and Outgoing Calls
2. Directory System and Personal Speed Dials
3. Setting Ring Volume
CALL HISTORY OPERATION
Incoming Call History can register up to 50 and the Outgoing Call
History can register 10 records.
To view Call History:
1. Press the [HIST] soft key.
2. Select a history to access by either pressing the [OG] soft key
for Outgoing Calls or [IC] soft key for Incoming calls
3. Press the [PREV] or [NEXT] soft key to scroll through your
history
To make a call from Incoming Call History:
1. Follow the above instructions to “View Call History”
2. Press the [CB] soft key to dial the displayed number
To make a call from Outbound Call History:
1. Follow the above instructions to “View Call History”
2. When viewing the desired number, press the [REDIAL] softkey
or press #.
ACD OPERATION
Log On To Group
1. Press LOG ON key (display will show login ID)
2. Enter your log on ID (your extension number) and press #
3. LOG ON and WORK key will both light up
4. To begin answering calls, press the WORK key (light will go out)
If the WORK key is lit, you will NOT receive calls. Any time you are not
available to answer calls, press WORK key so that your extension is by
passed.
If you leave the phone and do not press WORK, calls will continue
to ring. If unanswered, the system will pull back the call and
automatically put the extension in WORK mode. Always watch for the
light to determine if you are available to take calls. The light on the
WORK key is off when you are available.
Call Waiting
The CW key will be lit any time a call is waiting in queue.
Log Out Of Group
1. Press LOG ON key
BASIC OPERATION
Answering Calls
To answer an incoming call:
1. While the phone is ringing, lift handset
2. Converse
Placing Calls*
To call another extension:
1. Lift handset
2. Dial the four-digit extension number
To make an outside call:
1. Lift handset
2. Dial 9, then the number (1 + area code if long distance)
To redial a number:
1. Without lifting the handset, press the Cursor Key to the left
(towards Redial)
2. Search for the desired number from the Redial List by pressing
the Cursor Key up or down
3. Press # (or ) to dial the number
Some extensions may need to press a line key before placing a call.
HANDLING CALLS
To place a call on Hold:
1. With a caller on the line, press HOLD
Held line flashes green on your phone.

To return to caller on Hold:
1. Press held line
To transfer a call:
1. Ask the party to hold
2. Press Transfer
3. Dial the extension number
4. You may announce the call (optional)
5. Hang up to complete transfer
(If the extension is busy, press Transfer again to go back to the original
caller)
To transfer a call directly into a mailbox:
1. With a call in progress, press Transfer
2. Dial 8500
3. When system answers, press *8 plus mailbox number
4. Hang up to connect
To Establish a Conference Call:
1. With an established call, press Transfer to obtain a “stutter
tone.
2. Dial the second party and announce to second party that you
are establishing a conference call
3. Press the CNF soft key to connect all parties
Three-way conference is established. (If one party hangs up, the other
two remain connected)
FEATURE KEYS & ACCESS CODES
Blank keys on your phone can be programmed as One Touch Speed
Dials
Programming ONE TOUCH SPEED DIALS:
1. With the handset in the cradle, press Feature
2. Press desired ONE TOUCH key
3. Dial the number you want, including “9” if it is an outside
number
4. Press Feature again to save the number
“SPD SET” will display in LCD screen
Programming NAME for One Touch Speed Dial:
1. Press Menu key
2. Press 2 for Directory
3. Press down arrow on Cursor Key until desired number shows
in display
4. Press ENTRY soft key
5. Press NAME soft key
6. Enter desired name via keypad
7. Press SET soft key
To access One Touch Speed Dial numbers:
1. Once programmed as above, press desired ONE TOUCH key
PHONE INSTRUMENT SET-UP
The CURSOR key can be used to adjust LCD Contrast, speaker/receiver
volume and ringer volume.
LCD Contrast
Press up or down on CURSOR key while idle
Speaker/Receiver Volume
Press up or down on CURSOR key while in conversation
Ringer Volume
Press up or down on CURSOR key while ringing
Change Ring Tone
1. With handset down
2. Press FEATURE 3, continue pressing 3 this until you hear
the tone you want to select (14 different ring tones). Press
FEATURE to save.
Microphone On/Off
1. Press MIC key
If the microphone is off, callers will not hear you on the speakerphone.
