MIKROFON-MODUL ME 88
Das Mikrofon-Modul ME 88 ist Teil des Sennheiser Telemike-
Systems und für die Verwendung mit den Griff + Speiseteilen K3 N,
K 3 U und K 30 AV bestimmt. Es zeichnet sich besonders durch
seinen extrem hohen Bündelungsgrad aus. Durch das Interferenz-
prinzip wird eine im wesentlichen keulenförmige Richtcharakteristik
erzielt Aufgrund der starken Richtwirkung ist das ME 88 immer
dann zu verwenden, wenn aus irgendwelchen Gründen eine Mikro-
fon-Aufstellung nahe der Schallquelle nicht möglich ist. Das ME 88
nimmt bevorzugt den direkten Schall auf und blendet daher auch
bei großem Abstand von der Schallquelle Umgebungsgeräusche
in einem wesentlichen höheren Maße aus als z. B. Mikrofone mit
Nierencharakteristik. Ein fest montierter Windschutz sorgt für eine
wirksame Unterdrückung von Windgeräuschen.

MICROPHONE HEAD ME 88
The microphone head ME 88 is apart of the Sennheiser Telemike
system and is designed forthe use with handgrip
+ powering
modules K 3 N, K 3 U and K 30 AV.This microphone head features
an extremely high level of directionality. A elub-shaped characte-
ristics has been achieved by the interference principle. Due to its
high directionality the MKE 88 is highly suitable for those situations
where, for some reason or other, it is not possible to position the
mike elose to the sound source. The ME 88 is designed to pick up
largely direct sound and for this reason even at greater distances
environmental and indirect sound are reduced much more than
with microphones with cardioid characteristic. A fixed windscreen
effectively suppresses wind noise.
