is a modular device that can be snapped onto a top hat rail. It is designed to control lighting systems with a maximum installed power of 500W for 230V incandescent lamps or 230V halogen lamps. Additionally, it can control up to 14 TRONIC transformers with different wattages (035W, 060W, 070W, 105W, 150W, 200W). The device offers protection against spike noise and ensures optimal performance when combined with TRONIC transformers.

The devices are of a modular design. They
are snapped onto a top hat rail.
Max. installed power is 500 W for 230 V
incandescent lamps or 230 V halogen lamps
or max. 14 TRONIC transformers, 035 W
or max. 08 TRONIC transformers, 060 W
or max. 07 TRONIC transformers, 070 W
or max. 04 TRONIC transformers, 105 W
or max. 03 TRONIC transformers, 150 W
or max. 02 TRONIC transformers, 200 W
Observe the above max. number of parallel
transformers to guarantee optimal spike
noise protection of the dimmer/transformer
combination.
The total installed power of all lamps must not
exceed 500 W.
Connecting inductive loads (iron-core trans-
formers) is not allowed.
In-circuit ripple pulse produced by the elec-
tricity suppliers may result in a short flicker if
the dimmer ist set low.
Depending on the total load on the SE TRONIC
dimmer, up to 10 SE TRONIC amplifiers or
built-in TRONIC amplifiers can be connected
(see diagram
) to extend the installed power.
Observe the technical terminal conditions set
by your electricity supplier.

Use the same phase conductor for inductive
dimmer and inductive amplifiers. Do not get
L and N confused when connecting the
amplifier because non-compliance will lead
to malfunction.
If you use inductive series embodied
amplifiers, always put a direct load by in-
ductive transformers or 230 V incandescent
lamps on the dimmer according to dimmer
specifications (see diagram
).
Small differences of illuminance between
dimmer load and load on the inductive
amplifier may occur, depending on the mains
voltage and the selected lamp. Overall load
(including transformer leak current) must not
exceed 450 VA.
During installation, observe the technical
terminal conditions set by your electricity
supplier.
Build up 2 circuits connected to the same
phase conductor if you are installing a lighting
system with a power of more than 3500 W.
Mechanically link the automatic circuit-
breaker of the two circuits to guarantee
disconnection of all poles of the lighting
system.
Use the same phase conductor for TRONIC
dimmer and amplifier.Do not get L and N confu-
sed when connecting the amplifier because non-
compliance will lead to malfunction.
If you use amplifiers, always put a direct load
by TRONIC transformers or lamps on the dim-
mer according to dimmer specifications (see
diagram
).

dimmer.
