Building on the ground breaking Juke Box E, Juke Box S2
is taking the first audiophile all-in-one system to the next
level. By changing to a more sophisticated acrylic platter
and an upgraded, Pro-Ject proprietary, cartridge we gave
the Juke Box the extra bit of audiophilia it deserves. Not
only the used technologies were addressed in the
designing process of Juke Box S2. We are also offering
the turntable in elegant wooden frames. Juke Box S2 now
comes standard in walnut or eucalyptus finish, which
aesthetically boosts the record player and enables it to fit
in any living arrangement.
Juke Box S2 effectively saves space by implementing a
pre-amplifier and power amplifier in its chassis. With the
rated 50 Watts per channel it you will be able to use your
stereo speakers and enjoy realistic sound stages and
great depth.
Let Juke Box S2 take you away on a trip through your
favourite music. Juke Box S2 doesn’t stop at playing vinyl
though, you will also be able to connect your smart
devices via Bluetooth and listen to your music wireless.
On top of that, another analogue input can be found on
the back side of Juke Box S2. Simply connect a

Most all-in-one systems stick to one pattern, they keep
the speakers in the housing of the turntable. While this
might be a nice solution for saving space, it introduces a
very critical problem for audio reproduction. When a
speaker is sitting basically in the turntable, the moving
parts of the speakers pass on vibrations to the tonearm.
This is a cause for a distorted sound and on top can harm
both the needle and the vinyl. No true audio enthusiast
would want that.
Additionally to a harmful experience for the needle and
the record, the listener will not be able to enjoy a real
two-channel sound. Even though in theory the built-in
speakers of such all-in-one systems might be set up as a
stereo pair, the reality proves that only a mono sound can
be heard in the end. This is because the drivers of the
speakers are too close together to form an honest stereo
image.
The Juke Box S2 Stereo Set solves all these problems by
simply putting the speakers outside of the turntable. This
way the listener will be able to place the speakers in a
distance that allows him to enjoy a real stereo sound. The
supplied bookshelf speakers, Speaker Box 5 S2, convince
with a realistic sound, punchy and well driven bass and
emotional mids with clear highs. With the supplied
speaker cables, Connect it LS, the Speaker Box 5 S2 can
be connected and allow a very easy setup with a
plug&pay character.

Juke Box S2 - the story behind it
Turntables and the analogue experience have gained in popularity the last few years, many people are searching for a true and
simple plug-and-play solution. A lot of products have been introduced to the market which are supposed to end this search,
though there have only been two solutions so far, which in our opinion still are not adequate to enjoy the full potential of ana-
logue players.
TURNTABLES WITH BUILT IN SPEAKERS: Probably the most popular solution. Those are mostly made in far-east with cheap con-
struction and toy-like build quality. These products are very far from the analogue sound as it is supposed to be, they even are
close to destroying your valuable records. The built-in speakers also cause lots of vibrations which are picked up from the car-
tridge, the outcome is a very distorted and boomy sound. On top of that, you won’t get close to a real concert-like stereo feeling,
as the speakers are too close to each other to form a room-like sound stage.
ACTIVE SPEAKERS PLUS TURNTABLE: The problem here is that the cable from the turntable to the speakers can be maximum
1.2 meters. This again causes many distortions and a coloured sound. With the short distance between the speakers of approxi-
mately 2 meters you will also not create a stereo effect. If you would like to add a second source, like a CD player or even your
smartphone, you will very likely come into difficulties with the cabelling.
We believe that the only true solution to this request is our active turntable Juke Box S2. It offers built-in pre and power-
amplifier, which allows you to place the speakers far away from each other to minimize the possibility of acoustic feedback and
to create a real analogue stereo experience.
