2. Intended purpose

This is a consumer electronics device.

The headphones are intended for playing sound from audio de-

vices at a normal listening volume.

The device is designed for use in private households. This device

may not be used for commercial purposes.

The magnetic fields generated by the headphones may impair

tors. You must therefore maintain a minimum distance of

3.94|inch between the headphones and the cardiac pacemak-

er/defibrillator.

~Set a low volume on the audio device before you connect the

headphones to the sound source.

~Avoid excessive volumes, particularly over extended periods

or in the case of frequent use. Excessive volume can result in

permanent hearing damage.

5. Operation

• Remove all packing material.

• Check that the device is undamaged.

Connecting

1. Set the sound source to a low volume.

2. Insert the TRS connector|7 into the headphone socket of the

sound source (e.g. MP3 player, television set).

Put on the headphones

1. Put on the headphones in such a way that the marking R is on

the right and L is on the left.

2. Figure A: adjust the size of the headphones to your head

size using the two adjustable headphone earpieces|3 and|5

by pulling out or pushing in the frames|2.

3. Set the volume of the sound source. Ensure that you are still

able to hear sounds in your surroundings.

Connecting a second set of headphones

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

~Connect only one set of headphones, no splitters, and no ad-

ditional audio sources, in order to avoid damage to the de-

vice.

The socket|4 can be used to attach a second set of headphones

with a 0.14 inch TRS connector, to allow a second person to listen

in.

6. Transport

For transportation purposes, the headphones can be folded up to

save space.

7. Cleaning / storing

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

~Protect the device from water drops and water spray.

Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning agents.

• If necessary, clean the device with a soft, damp cloth.

• When no longer using the device, store it in a place where

neither high temperatures nor moisture can affect it.

8. Disposal

This appliance must not be disposed of as household garbage.

If the electrical appliance is no longer be used, it must be handed

over to the relevant local public waste authorities for disposal.

As a rule, these waste disposal authorities run special reception

units for electrical appliances (recycling centers, materials recov-

ery centers etc.).

9. Troubleshooting

If your headphones fail to function as required, please try this check-

list first. It could just be a minor problem that you can solve yourself.

5. Operación

• Retire todo el material de embalaje.

• Compruebe que el equipo no presenta daños.

Conexión

1. Seleccione un volumen bajo en su fuente de audio.

2. Introduzca el conector jack 7 en la salida de audio de la fuen-

te de sonido (p. ej., reproductor de MP3, televisor).

Colocación de los auriculares

1. Póngase los auriculares de modo que la letra R corresponda

con el oído derecho y la letra L lo haga con el izquierdo.

2. Figura A: ajuste el tamaño de los auriculares 3 a 5 la medi-

da de su cabeza, utilizando las piezas ajustables empujando

o halando las varillas 2.

3. Seleccione el volumen deseado en su fuente de audio. Asegú-

rese de que todavía se pueda escuchar el ruido ambiental.

Conexión de un segundo set de auriculares

¡ADVERTENCIA! Riesgo de daños materiales

~Conecte solo un par de auriculares, sin distribuidor ni fuente

de audio adicional, para evitar daños al equipo.

La entrada de audio 2 4 puede usarse para conectar un segundo

set de auriculares mediante un conector jack de 0,14 inch, para

6. Transporte

8. Manejo de desechos

gar. Si no seguirá usando el aparato eléctrico, deberá entregarlo

su eliminación. Como norma, estas autoridades de eliminación de

desechos dirigen unidades especiales para recibir aparatos eléc-
