Thank you on Your purchase of ONIDA FIRE TV. Your TV comes with the latest technology
to enhance your TV experience.
Your ONIDA FIRE TV can control all Alexa Enabled Devices.
The latest eco-friendly power saving technology will ensure the TV will go into sleep
mode within 30 minutes, if the TV is idle and no input is connected to the TV.

INTRODUCTION & OPERATION FOR ONIDA FIRE TV :
Your ONIDA Fire TV remote includes a wireless remote with a 5-way directional track pad
that allows you to quickly and easily navigate your device.
Before you can use the remote, you must install the 2 AAA batteries and pair it
with your ONIDA Fire TV .
1.Slide open the battery compartment on the back of the Remote
control.
2.insert two AAA size batteries. Make sure to match the (+) and (-)
ends of batteries match with Remote (+) and (-).
3.SIide back the battery compartment. Make sure it clicks into
place.

Standby

Initial Setup for Onida Fire TV With Unboxing
Setting up language
When the TV is switched on for the first time, the desired language selection menu is
shown. Follow the below instructions to select the menu language:
1.) Press the navigation button (4) on the Remote control to highlight the desired language
then press the select button (3) on the remote control to confirm the selection

2.) Once the language option has been chosen, customer should choose'Continue' in
continue or store use mode page. please refer fig.2
Pairing Your Remote Control With TV Set:
Customer can be use following procedure for pairing remote with fire TV.
Procedure 1.Here customer scan QR code from mobile which is displayedon TV screen
and download Fire TV App. from google play store. and select set up new device and
follow the instructions.

Procedure 2. Customer press remote “SELECT”(3) button for Set up with Remote, it is
searching remote and paired remote automatically with Fire TV ,

Some time it will be happen it is take a time or not paired automatically, customer refer
following image which is shown on TV screen for paired remote control manually, pressing
the “HOME’’ (9) button on the remote for 10 second. refer fig.4
When remote paired with Onida Fire TV following POP UP massage shown, it means now
TV is connected to Fire TV. refer fig.5

Set Up a Wireless or Wired Connection
Fire TV supports wireless or wired Internet connections. Connect your Fire TV device to
the Internet to access movies, TV shows, games, and apps.
Wired Network Connection :(with initial setup )
a. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable (not included) to the back of your Fire TV, and then
connect the other end to your router. click on Configure Ethernet connection”and enter
your IP address ,refer fig.6 and fig.7 ,
you will now be asked to sign in to your Amazon account ,please refer “Sing in to your
Amazon account page

b. From the Home screen, select Settings > System. Next to Network, you will see
Wired.
c. After you connect to a wired network, press the Home button to display the Home
screen.

Wireless Network Connection:
a. From the Home screen, select Settings > Network > Wi-Fi.Your Amazon Fire TV device automatically detects
nearby Wi-Fi networks that broadcast their network name. Some networks are open for everyone to join, while
others require a password to connect.
b. Under Available Networks, select a wireless network and enter the network password (if required)
using the onscreen keyboard. You can also use the keyboard in the Fire TV Remote App.
*In the initial setup flow after remote paring screen, network page will show and device will automatically scan

TIP :
• For optimal wireless performance, do not place your Amazon Fire TV in an enclosed cabinet, as it impacts signal
strength to the device, remote, and game controllers.
• For Fire TV, if you are switching from a wired to a wireless connection, disconnect the Ethernet cable
from your Amazon Fire TV device before switching to a wireless connection.

a.) For select routers, it is possible to establish connection between the TV and the router without the need for
a password. Refer to the router user manual for more details.
b.) Press the navigation button (4) and select 'Connect using WPS Push Button', then press the select button (3)
to confirm.
c.) Press the WPS button on the router. The TV will connect to the router automatically without the use of a
password.

To verify that your Amazon Fire TV device is registered to your Amazon account:
1. From the Home screen, select Settings > My Account.
• If no account is currently registered, select Register to register your Amazon Fire TV device to the
desired Amazon account.
• If you would like to register a different Amazon account, select the Amazon account that is currently
registered, and then select Deregister.

If you purchased your Amazon Fire TV device online from Amazon using your Amazon account, it should
already be registered to you. If you purchased your Amazon Fire TV device from another retailer or
received it as a gift, follow the on-screen instructions for entering your Amazon account information and
password.
Note: If you do not have an Amazon account, press the navigation key (4) and select "l am
new to Amazon and follow the instruction on screen to register. Refer fig.12

Enter your email id registered with Amazon account along with the password. FoIIow on
screen instructions to enter an alphanumeric code to link your Amazon ID to TV set.

3.) Enter the email address that you use for your Amazon account, then select NEXT and
press the select button (3) to confirm
4.) Enter your Amazon account password, then select SIGN IN and press the select button

5.) Select CONTINUE then press the select button (3) to confirm.
6.) If you would like to save your WI Fl password to your amazon account, select YES then
press the select button (3) to confirm . If you do not want to save your WI Fl password to
your account, select NO then press the select button (3) refer fig.18
7.) If you want to enable the parental controls you can do it at this point or you can do it
later, Select "Enable Parental Controls" or "No Parental Controls" accordingly and confirm
with select button (3) refer fig.19
Select popular apps to download : refer fig. 20 and fig.21
You can now select all the popular apps that you would like to download Once selected,
they will download automatically in the background while the TV is tuning. There are 4
categories to choose from. More apps will be available once you have setup the TV, so
you can skip this stage if you want.
1.) Press the navigation button (4) and select 'Choose Apps' then press the select
button(3) to confirm. You can also select 'No Thanks' if you prefer to download the apps
later.
2.) Select the app(s) that you would like to download from section using the navigation
button (4), press the select button (3) to confirm.

6.) Select the app(s) that you would like to download from the 'Original Show Services'
section using the navigation button (4) and press the select button (3) to confirm 7.) Press
the play/pause button (12), once you have chosen all the apps you'd like to download. A list
of selected apps will appear. Press the select button (3) to finish. the process. These apps
will start to download while you tune into the TV
Data Monitoring Setup : refer fig. 22,fig.23,and fig.24
You can monitor and control the amount of data your TV uses while streaming apps and
downloading data. 1.) Press the navigation button (4) and select Enable Data Monitoring',
then press the select button (3) to confirm. You can also choose 'Set up Later' if you prefer
to enable this feature later.
2.) Press the navigation button (4) to choose the preferred video quality, then highlight
'Next' and press the select button (3) to continue.
3.) Set the amount of data in GB per month which your TV can use, then highlight "Next"
and press the select button (3) to continue.
4.) Enter the start date of your monthly internet bill, then highlight 'Next' and press the
select button (3) to continue
5.) A confirmation box will appear on the screen. You can go back by selecting. Previous',
or select 'Done' to save the settings.
Now your fire TV initial setup complete, and you ready to watch your TV programs or play
LIVE online streaming like youtube, prime video, netflix and many more..refer fig.25

Connecting a Cable or set Top box or DTH.
Many cable or STB TV boxes have more than one connection type. To get the best video,
you should use the best connection type available. You can connect a cable or STB /DTH
using (in order of preference)
1) .Make sure that your TV's power cord is unplugged and all connected equipment is
turned Off.
2 .)Connect a coaxial cable (not provided) to the cable wall jack and to the
cable -in jack on the cable or
STB. 3.) Connect an HDMI cable
(not provided) to one of the
HDMI jacks on your TV and to
the HDMI out jack
on the cable or STB/DTH box 4 .) 0n the HOME screen, navigate to the INPUTS row, then

Connecting An Antenna : 1.) Make sure that your TV's power cord is unplugged and all
connected equipment is turned
off.
2.) Connect a coaxial cable
(not provided) to the antenna/
cable jack on your TV and to the
antenna or cable connection.
3.) Plug your TV's power cord into a power outlet, then turn on your TV.
4.) On the HOME screen, navigate to the INPUTS row, then select Antenna.
5.) If you cannot tune to channels you know exist, scan for channels. Go to
Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan
Note: • Use a coaxial cable to eliminate interference and noise from radio waves.

• If the antenna is not installed correctly, contact qualified service personnel to correct the
problem.
• If the signal level for a channel is weak, the picture may be distorted. Adjust the
antenna or use a highly directional outdoor or set top Antenna with a built in amplifier.
• If the picture quality is good on some channels and poor on others, the problem may be
caused by a poor or weak signal from the Broadcaster or cable TV provider.
• If you connect to cable TV without a set top box and experience poor picture quality, you
may need to install a set top box to improve Signal reception and picture quality. Contact
your cable TV provider about upgrading to a set top box.
IMPORTANT: When you connect the audio using the AV jacks, the signals are analog

turned off.2 .) Connect an HDMI cable (not provided) to one of the HDMI jacks on your TV

AV/Composite :
Note: Cables are often color-coded to match color-coded jacks

2. Connect an AV cable (not provided) to the AV jacks on your TV and to the AV out
jacks on the DVD or Blue ray player.

Connecting to Ethernet / Rj45 : To access the Internet, you can connect to a LAN
(Ethernet) network If you do not
want to connect to Wi-Fi.
• Connect an Ethernet cable
(not provided) to the LAN jack on
your TV and to your Ethernet
Connecting a Computer : 1.) Make Sure that your TV's power cord is unplugged and the
computer is turned Off.
2.) Connect an HDMI cable
(not provided) to one of the HDMI
jacks on your TV and to the HDMI
out jack on the computer.
3.) plug your TV's power cord into a power outlet, then turn on your TV and the computer.
4.)On the HOME screen, navigate to the INPUTS row, then select HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI3
Connecting External Speaker or a Sound bar :
You can connect external speakers or a sound bar using: * Digital audio * Analog audio
1. ) Make sure that your TV power cord is unplugged & the digital speaker system or
sound bar is turned off.
2.) Connect a SPDIF audio cable (not provided) to the SPDIF output jack on your TV and to
the audio in jack on the digital speaker system or sound bar.
3.) Plug your TV's power cord into a
power outlet, then turn on your TV.
4.) Turn on the digital speaker
system or sound bar, then set it to
the correct source. See the
documentation that came along with the digital speaker system or sound bar
Note: Depending on the audio device you are connecting, you may need to change the
digital audio format for your TV. The default setting is Auto

5.)If you need to change the digital audio format, go to the Home menu, select Settings,
then select Display & Sounds, then Select Audio Output, then select Digital Audio Format
and change the setting to PCM or Dolby Digital.
6.)If you want to turn off your TV speakers, go the Home menu, select Settings, then select
Display & Sounds. Select Audio Output, then select TV Speakers and change the setting to
OFF.
Connecting a USB flash drive Plug a USB flash drive into the USB port on your TV. It
takes few seconds for detecting flash drive." Content
loading" message will be seen on TV screen, after
detecting flash drive, on TV you will see four options.
1) Your Files: for all content are visible,
2) Video: only compatible Video content play
3) Image: only compatible image file format play
4) Audio: only compatible Audio format play
To safely remove USB storage, you need to "eject" it from your Amazon Fire TV first:
Digital audio using the HDMI/ARC:
Your TV can send sound to an ARC device, like an AV receiver, to create a home theater
that uses two or more speakers. When you connect external speakers or a sound bar,
sound plays through your TV speakers and the external speakers or sound bar.
1. )Make sure that your TV's power cord is unplugged and the digital speaker system or
sound bar is turned off.
2.) Connect an HDMI cable
(not provided) to the HDMI 1/Arc
jack on your TV and to the audio
in jack on the digital speaker
system or sound bar.
3.) Plug your TV's power cord into a power outlet, then turn on your TV.
4 .) Turn on the digital speaker system or sound bar, then set it to the correct source. See
the documentation that came along with the digital speaker system or sound bar.
Note: Depending on the audio device you are connecting, you may need to change the
digital audio format for your TV. The default setting is Auto.
5.)If you need to change the digital audio format, go to the Home menu, select Settings,
then select Display & Sounds, then Select Audio Output, then select Digital Audio Format

Connecting Power :
1.) If your power cord is not permanently connected to your TV, connect it to the power
connector on your TV.
2.) Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
CAUTION:
• Your TV should only be operated from the power source indicated on the label.
• Always unplug the power cord from the power outlet when you will not be using your TV
for an extended period of time.

2 Connect an audio cable (not provided) to the audio out jack on your TV and to the
audio in jacks on the analog speaker system or sound bar.
3 Plug your TV's power cord into a power outlet, then turn on your TV.
4 Turn on the analog speaker system or sound bar, then set it to the correct source. See
the documentation that came with the analog speaker system or sound bar.
Connecting Power :
1 If your power cord is not permanently connected to your TV, connect it to the power
connector on your TV.
2 Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
CAUTION:
• Your TV should only be operated from the power source indicated on the label.
• Always unplug the power cord from the power outlet when you will not be using your
TV for an extended period of time.
Analog audio: (Optional)
When you connect an analog speaker system or sound bar to the audio out jack, the TV
speakers are muted.
