No hardware required for assembly.
Step 1: Insert plug into socket under solar panel (C) as shown above.

Step 2: Put solar panel (C) on top of umbrella and hide plug and wire inside
the cavity at top. Then turn the solar panel clockwise. Do not over-tighten.
CAUTION: Do not use sharp tools or equipment such as a knife or scissors when
removing the protective material, as it may damage the product.

Assembly Instructions
Step 5: Remove battery (D) from accessories kit and place into the housing bot-
tom to top, located on the crank housing. Then put the solar umbrella in direct
sunlight outdoors to charge the solar panel for 8 hours before the first use.
MAKE SURE THE LED LIGHTS ARE OFF ON UMBRELLA TO ALLOW
SOLAR PANEL TO FULLY CHARGE BATTERY.
Step 3: To assemble the two
pieces together: insert the
bottom pole (B) into the upper
pole (A) while pressing the
snap button on the upper pole
until the snap button locks into
position as shown above.
Step 4: We recommend that
you stand and secure the um-
brella to an
umbrella no less than 35 lbs
(not included) as shown above.

Step 6: (1) Turn crank handle in clockwise direction (to right) until canopy is
fully opened. Turn crank handle in opposite direction to close canopy and
secure with attached strap. To close the umbrella, it must be in the upright
position.
(2) You can tilt the umbrella to the right or left by pressing the tilt button to
release the umbrella top. Release the button to maintain desired angle.
(3) Insert battery into housing bottom to top. Press light button to turn solar-
lights on and off. Press once to turn on rib lights on and off. Press a second
time to turn on hub light. Press a third time to turn on both ribs and hub lights.
Press a fourth time to turn off all lights. Remove battery from hub when the
battery has drained. Replace battery once fully charged. When solar energy
is insufficient, you can use the power supply indoors to charge the battery.
Charge level can be seen on battery power meter lights.

CAUTION: YOU MUST CHARGE THE BATTERY BEFORE FIRST USE. Please note that
battery can lose charge if left unused or uncharged for a long period of time. Failure to
charge the battery will result in premature dimming of the lights in your new solar umbrella.
Make sure the light switch is in off position when charging the solar panel. Fore everyday
normal use, turn light switch on at night when you want to use solar light and turn off switch
after use. MAKE SURE LIGHT SWITCH IS IN OFF POSITION DURING DAYTIME TO ALLOW
SOLAR PANEL TO CHARGE BATTERY.

• Battery should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
• Do not open battery or try to replace battery by yourself.
• Do not dispose or batteries in fire.
• Keep battery (batteries) out of reach of children.
INFORMATION: Leaving battery outside in inclement weather will damage battery and power
supply.
Battery charged after 3-4 hours using power supply or 6-8 hours of direct sunlight.
Battery life 6-8 hours when fully charged. Power supply is for indoor use only. Do not use
outdoors.

DANGER : Keep children out of the assembly area during assembly.
WARNING: Read the entire instructions before beginning and follow the steps
outlined. Failure to assemble and install as instructed could result in the umbrella
tipping over, causing personal injury and/or property damage.
WARNING: Do not open umbrella in windy conditions, as it could be blown
over and cause personal injury or damage. To secure umbrella properly,
either bolt it directly to your deck or patio, or use a properly weighted
umbrella base. Keep umbrella away from glass tabletops during windy
conditions to prevent breakage. Warranty does not cover damage due to
neglect, abuse or poor weather conditions.
CAUTION: Assemble and use umbrella on flat ground.
CAUTION: : Before opening umbrella, insert the plug into the socket under
the solar panel. Put the solar panel at the top of umbrella and hide the plug
and wire inside the groove at the top of the umbrella. Then turn the solar panel
clockwise. Do not over tighten.
CAUTION: It is recommended that you bring . battery pack inside in sub-zero
temperatures.
INFORMATION: Be sure to secure and/or weight the base of the umbrella.
INFORMATION: Close the umbrella and use the canopy storage straps when
umbrella is not in use. If the umbrella is stored off season in a box, the solar
panel and battery pack must be removed to avoid damage.
NOTE : Schematics in this manual are for assembly and operation illustration
only. They may differ from the umbrella’s actual appearance.

Avant de commencer le montage, vérifier qu’il ne manque aucune pièce.
Disposer toutes les pièces sur une surface propre et plane, puis comparer le
contenu de l’emballage avec la liste des pièces et l’image ci-dessous.

Étape 1 : Brancher la fiche sur la prise sous le panneau solaire (C), com-
me illustré ci-dessus.

Étape 2 : Placer le panneau solaire au sommet du parasol, puis dissimuler
la fiche et le fil dans la cavité. Visser le panneau dans le sens horaire, sans
trop serrer.
ATTENTION : Pour éviter d’abîmer le produit, ne pas utiliser d’outils ou d’objets
tranchants tels qu’un couteau ou des ciseaux pour retirer l’emballage.

Instructions de montage
Étape 5 : Prendre la batterie (D) qui se trouve avec les accessoires et l’insérer,
du bas vers le haut, dans le boîtier situé sur le mécanisme de manivelle. Char-
ger la batterie en exposant le panneau solaire à la lumière du soleil pendant huit
heures avant la première utilisation.

RECHARGE COMPLÈTEMENT LA BATTERIE.
Étape 3 : Insérer le mât in-
férieur (B) dans le mât supérieur
(A), comme illustré ci-dessus,
tout en maintenant le bouton du
mât inférieur enfoncé jusqu’à ce
qu’il s’enclenche.
Étape 4 : Il est recommandé
de placer le parasol dans une
base d’au moins 16 kg (35 lb)
(non comprise), comme illustré
ci-dessus.

Étape 6 : 1) Tourner la manivelle dans le sens horaire (vers la droite) jusqu’à
l’ouverture complète de la toile. Pour la refermer, redresser le parasol et
tourner la manivelle dans le sens opposé, puis attacher la toile avec la courroie
fournie.
2) Le parasol s’incline d’un côté ou de l’autre au moyen du bouton d’inclinai-
son, qui permet de faire basculer la partie supérieure. Relâcher le bouton pour
maintenir le parasol dans l’angle souhaité.
3) Insérer la batterie dans le boîtier, du bas vers le haut. Appuyer sur l’inter-
rupteur pour allumer ou éteindre les lumières solaires. Appuyer une fois pour
allumer ou éteindre les ampoules intégrées aux rayons, deux fois pour allumer
celle intégrée au moyeu, trois fois pour les allumer toutes, et quatre fois pour
les éteindre. Retirer la batterie lorsqu’elle est déchargée, puis la replacer une
fois qu’elle est complètement chargée. Quand l’énergie solaire est insuff-
isante, utiliser le bloc d’alimentation pour charger la batterie à l’intérieur. Le
voyant d’alimentation indique la charge.

ATTENTION : Charger la batterie avant la première utilisation. La batterie peut se
décharger si elle n’est pas utilisée ou chargée pendant une longue période. Si la batterie
n’est pas chargée, l’intensité de l’éclairage pourrait faiblir prématurément. L’interrupteur doit
être fermé pendant le chargement. Pour un usage quotidien normal, allumer l’éclairage le
soir, lorsque souhaité, puis l’éteindre après l’utilisation. LAISSER L’INTERRUPTEUR FERMÉ LE
JOUR POUR QUE LE PANNEAU SOLAIRE PUISSE RECHARGER LA BATTERIE.

• Jeter ou recycler la batterie selon la réglementation locale en vigueur.
• Ne pas ouvrir la batterie ni essayer de la remplacer.
• Ne pas jeter la batterie au feu.
• Tenir la batterie hors de la portée des enfants.
NOTE : L’exposition aux intempéries endommagera la batterie et le bloc d’alimentation.
La batterie sera complètement rechargée après 3 à 4 heures avec le bloc d’alimentation ou
après 6 à 8 heures d’exposition au soleil.
Autonomie de 6 à 8 heures lorsque la batterie est complètement rechargée. Bloc
d’alimentation pour usage à l’intérieur seulement. Ne pas utiliser à l’extérieur.
Ce produit est conforme à la partie 15 des règlements de la FCC. Son fonctionnement est
sujet aux deux conditions suivantes :
1)Ce produit ne doit pas causer d’interférences nuisibles.

AVERTISSEMENT : Lire les instructions en entier avant de commencer le
montage. Suivre les étapes de montage et d’installation, sans quoi le parasol
pourrait basculer et causer des bris ou des blessures.
AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas ouvrir le parasol par temps venteux, sans
quoi il pourrait se renverser et causer des bris ou des blessures. Fixer le
parasol solidement en le vissant directement au patio ou à la terrasse ou en
utilisant une base suffisamment lourde. Ne pas laisser le parasol près d’une
table à surface vitrée par temps venteux pour éviter des bris. La garantie ne
couvre pas les dommages causés par la négligence, l’utilisation abusive ou
les conditions météorologiques.
ATTENTION : Monter et installer le parasol sur une surface plane.
ATTENTION : Avant d’ouvrir le parasol, brancher la fiche sur la prise sous
le panneau solaire. Placer le panneau solaire au sommet du parasol, puis
dissimuler la fiche et le fil dans la cavité. Visser le panneau dans le sens
horaire, sans trop serrer.
ATTENTION : Il est recommandé de rentrer la batterie à l’intérieur en cas de
température sous le point de congélation.
NOTE : Bien fixer et solidifier la base du parasol.
NOTE : Fermer la toile et attacher les courroies de rangement lorsque le
parasol n’est pas utilisé. Si le parasol est rangé dans une boîte en fin de
saison, retirer le panneau solaire et la batterie pour éviter de les endommager.
NOTE : Les illustrations du présent manuel sont fournies à titre indicatif pour
le montage et l’utilisation seulement. L’apparence réelle du parasol pourrait
différer.

Paso 1: Inserte el conector en el enchufe debajo del panel solar (C) como
se muestra arriba.

Paso 2: Coloque el panel solar (C) en la parte superior de la sombrilla y
oculte el enchufe y el cable dentro de la cavidad en la parte superior. A con-
tinuación, gire el panel solar en sentido horario. No apriete demasiado.
PRECAUCIÓN: No utilice equipo o herramientas afiladas como un cuchillo
o unas tijeras cuando retire el material de protección, ya que podría dañar el
producto.
