Use cable ties to secure cables to
lower handle.
Remove and discard the retainer clip found A.
on the chute deflector.
Lift handle upward into extended position. B.
Tighten handle knobs. C.
Secure the wheels to the deck as
shown. The crown side of the bell
washer should be facing the wheel.
Use the same index hole (i.e. lower,
middle or upper) for all four wheels.
Hold blade control handle against upper handle. A.
Slowly pull starter rope handle from engine and B.
slip starter rope into the rope guide.
Tighten rope guide wing knob.C.

Oil Fill /

Push the primer five times.
Fill fuel tank with clean, fresh gasoline. Do not
fill above the base of fuel tank neck.
Pour the entire contents of the oil bottle (supplied)
into the oil fill. Check the oil level using the
dipstick. (Refer to the Operator’s Manual)
While standing behind the machine, pivot the Blade
Control Handle against the upper handle.
Grasp the starter rope handle and pull with quick, full-
arm stroke. If the engine does not start after five pulls,
repeat steps 3 and 4.
