Maintenance requires a variety of tools
- two flat screwdrivers of different
sizes
- a chain about 1 m long
- a 2.5 Allen key (M4)
- a 3 Allen key (M5)
- open-end spanners : 7, 8, and 12
- a high-temperature lubricant
Some operations differ according to
the serial number. This number is vis-
ible on the upper right front, on the
return.

Make sure to centre parts A, B and
C properly when reassembling.
8 Do not hesitate to lubricate the
pulley. Use “high-temperature”
lubricant.
6 Using the 12 mm open-end span-
ner and a 3 Allen key, unscrew the
pulley from the bracket.
6
4 Lower the bracket 10 cm. 5 Pivot the bracket 45° and lower it
until it is completely free.

1 Tilt the door. Unhook the cable. 2 To avoid "losing" the cable in the
convection chamber, attach it to
the chain. Let the counterweight
down.
3 Using the 3 Allen key, unscrew the
2 screws that hold the bracket in
place. When a screw is seized-up,
do not force as this will damage its
head : it will un-seize with a ham-
mer blow in line with the screw-
driver.

For models 21/45, 21/65C, 21/65H,
21/75, 21/85 et 21/95 single-sided :
- Lining the bottom : place the rebat-
ed refractories towards the back
(to receive the back refractories)
- Place the side refractories as far
forward as possible (with the rebate
towards the front of the fireplace),
so as to be able to fit the refracto-
ries lining the back,
- Place the back ones as far to the
outside as possible, and then centre
them,
- Finally, push the side refractories
towards the back (to hold in place
the refractories lining the back).
21/105, 21/125 single-sided :
- The same procedure applies to the
other single-sided models, but the
4 refractories without rebates go in
the centre of the rear wall.
- For levels 2, 3, and 4, place the
respective locking pieces in front
of refractories nos. 16, 21, and 26.
For the double-sided models :
- 21/75 & 21/85 DF : centre all
refractor plates.
- 21/95 DF (fig.6') : fit refractors
1 & 5, then 2, 3 & 4 and finish
with sides.
- 21/125 DF (fig.6") : fit refractors
1, 2, 6 & 7, then 3, 4 & 5 and
finish with sides.
