Fitting the feet
(optional)
Fit the four feet (supplied) to the underside of
the unit (see A left). To  t one of the feet, do the
following:
1 On the top of the foot, peel o the backing
paper that is protecting the sticky surface.
2 Position the foot centrally (sticky side up) in an
empty foot recess on the underside of the unit.
Then, press the foot into the recess until it sticks
in position. (See B left.)
There is an option for rack mounting two DN9620s
side by side in a single rack space, see the User
Manual for details.

Monte las cuatro patas suministradas en la cara
inferior de la unidad (ver A izquierda). Para montar
las patas:
1 En el lado superior de la para, arranque el papel
que protege el adhesivo.
2 Con el lado adhesivo arriba, coloque la pata
centrada en un hueco correspondiente en la
cara inferior de la unidad. Presione la pata en
el hueco hasta que se mantenga adherida (ver
B izquierda).
Hay la opción de montar en bastidor dos DN9620
juntos en un solo espacio de bastidor; consultar el
Manual del Usuario para información suplementaria.

(en option)
Montez les quatre pieds (fournis) à la partie
inférieure de l'appareil (voir A à gauche). Pour
monter l'un des pieds, procédez comme suit :
1 Détachez le papier collant protégeant la surface
adhésive du dessous du pied.
2 Placez le pied au milieu (Côté adhésif orienté
vers le haut) dans le retrait vide prévu pour le
pied, sur la partie inférieure de l'appareil. Puis
appuyez sur le pied dans le retrait jusqu'à ce
qu'il soit collé en position. (voir B à gauche).
Il existe une option permettant de monter côte
à côte deux DN9620 dans un seul rack. Pour des
renseignements détaillés, référez-vous au manuel de
l'utilisateur.

Bringen Sie die vier Füße (mitgeliefert) an der

dabei jeweils wie folgt vor:
1. Ziehen Sie oben am Fuß das Schutzpapier von
der Klebe äche ab.
2. Setzen Sie den Fuß mit der Klebe äche nach
oben mittig in einer leeren Fußaufnahme an der
Unterseite der Einheit an. Drücken Sie den Fuß in die
Fußaufnahme, bis er kleben bleibt (siehe B links).
Es besteht die Möglichkeit, zwei DN9620
nebeneinander in das gleiche Rackfach einzubauen.

Monte os quatro pés (fornecidos) do lado inferior da
unidade (ver A à esquerda). Para montar cada um
dos pés, faça o seguinte:
1 Retire o papel protetor da superfície adesiva do
topo do pé.
2 Posicione o pé centralizado (lado adesivo para
cima) em uma reentrância de um dos pés
vazia. Pressione o pé no recesso até ele colar na
posição. (Ver B à esquerda).
Existe uma opção de montar dois DN9620 lado a lado
em um único espaço de um rack, consulte o Manual
do Usuário para mais detalhes.

FRONT PANEL
1 USB type B CONFIGURATION port to update the
unit's software by connecting a PC/Mac.
2 AES50 audio status LEDs show the status of each
AES50 port, where OK pulsates to show good
communication and ERROR ashes to show a
communication error.
3 Snake status LEDs. Show the status of the
connected snake (optical or copper), where OK
pulsates when link is synchronised between
router and end point, and ERROR ashes to
show no communications or a fault.
4 SNAKE SELECTION section lets you choose the
type of snake to be used (optical or copper).
5 SAMPLE RATE section lets you choose the
sample rate (96 kHz or 48 kHz).
6 CLOCK SOURCE section lets you choose the
clock source, where: INTERNAL = the DN9620's
internally generated clock is used; EXTERNAL
AES50 = the DN9620 automatically searches
the AES50 ports for the  rst valid clock; and
EXTERNAL SNAKE = the clock on the snake
connection is used.
7 Backlit Klark Teknik roundel, which illuminates
light blue to show that the unit is powered up.
8 Ventilation grill.
REAR PANEL
9 Mains power inlet. This is a switch mode
power supply that has a mains IEC socket (9a),
power on/o switch (9c) and a fuse drawer (9b)
that houses an easily replaceable mains fuse.
10 Snake connectors for connecting the DN9620 to
another AES50-enabled device. You can connect
a  bre optic connector to the opticalCON
connector of the OPTICAL port (10a) or a Cat5e
or Cat6 copper snake to the etherCON connector
of the COPPER port (10b). Please note that
optical and copper snakes cannot be used
simultaneously.

Laser radiation; do not stare into
beam!

PANEL FRONTAL
1 Toma USB tipo B de CONFIGURACIÓN para
actualizar el software de la unidad con conexión
a un PC o Mac.
2 LED de estado de audio AES50; indican el estado
de cada toma AES50: OK con iluminación
pulsante (intensidad luminosa continuamente
variable) para indicar buena comunicación,
y ERROR con iluminación intermitente para
indicar un error de comunicación.
3 LED de estado del snake. Muestran el estado
del cable snake (óptico o de cobre) que se tiene
conectado: OK con iluminación pulsante para
indicar que la conexión entre el enrutador y
el punto  nal está sincronizada, y ERROR con
iluminación intermitente para indicar que no
hay comunicación o un fallo.
4 La sección SELECCIÓN DE SNAKE permite
seleccionar el tipo de snake que se vaya a usar
(óptico o de cobre).
5 La sección FRECUENCIA DE MUESTREO permite
seleccionar la frecuencia de muestreo (96 kHz
o 48 kHz).
6 La sección RELOJ permite seleccionar el reloj:
INTERNO = uso del reloj interno del DN9620;
AES50 EXTERNO = el DN9620 comprueba
automáticamente las tomas AES50 para buscar
el primer reloj válido; y SNAKE EXTERNO = uso
del reloj en la conexión del snake.
7 Icono Klark Teknik retroiluminado; iluminación
de color azul para indicar que la unidad está
encendida.
8 Rejilla de ventilación.
PANEL POSTERIOR
9 Toma de alimentación principal. Es una fuente
de alimentación conmutada con una toma de
alimentación tipo IEC (9a), un interruptor de
alimentación (9c) y un portafusible (9b) con
un fusible principal que puede cambiarse con
facilidad.
10 Conectores de snake para conectar el DN9620
a otro dispositivo compatible AES50. Puede
conectarse un conector de  bra óptica al
conector opticalCON de la toma ÓPTICO (10a),
o un snake de cobre Cat 5 o Cat 6 al conector
etherCON de la toma COBRE. ¡Aviso! No
pueden usarse simultáneamente snakes
ópticos y de cobre.
¡Atención! Radiación de láser; no
mirar directamente al haz.
11 Dos conectores AES50.
