1. Placetheextendedprobeonaflatsurface
2. Setthetension“F”knobtotheleftorreleasedposition.
3. Setthearticulationknobto
thecenterpositionwiththeRΔandΔL
labelsinthehorizontalposition.
4. Manuallyadjusttheprobeandcameratothezerodegreeposition.
5. Rotatethearticulationknobclockwisefora90°bend.
6. Ifnecessary,manuallyadjusttheprobesothatthecameralaysflaton
the
surfacewitha90°articulation
7. Rotatethearticulationknobcounterclockwiseandconfirmproper
orientation.
ChargingtheProbeBattery
Theprobebatterycanbechargedintwoways:
1. Chargetheprobewithitsownchargingcable.TheACchargerportandchargingstatusLED
arelocatedinthebottomaccesscompartment.Connectthechargertotheprobeand
observethecoloroftheLED:Redindicatescharging;Greenindicatesfullycharged.
2. Chargetheprobethroughthecamera.Connectthecameratotheprobeviatheextension
cable(bottomaccesscompartmentjack).Makesurethatthechargingcableisdisconnected
fromtheprobeandthenconnectachargingcabletothecamera.Nowwhilethecamerais
charging,the
probewillchargeatthesametime.
Note:Therechargeablebatteryisnotuserreplaceable.
