Operation
a) Plug and Play
• Connect the device to a USB port (min. USB 2.0) on your computer.
• Windows
®
automatically starts the installation of the required drivers. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- In case you experience problems, refer to your computer support guide.
• Check that the following items were installed:
- USB Video Device (for camera image manipulation)
- AMCap (for video capturing)
• Run your desired webcam application.
b) Software (Item No. 1601925)
Note that the operating system or your preferred webcam software may prevent you from using
two video capturing software at the same time.
AMCap:
• Start it through the Windows
®
Start menu.
• Use it to capture video footage and save it to your harddrive.
• Refer to the online documentation for more information.
c) Image extrapolation (Item No. 1601925)
The supplied driver CD contains image extrapolation software with which you can extrapolate the camera
image up to 4608 x 3456 px (approx. 16 MP). Extrapolation is limited to still images, such as snap shots.
• Insert the driver CD into your computer’s DVD drive.
• Double click the executable ending in .exe. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Select “Automatically run USB Video Device when you start up the computer” to start up USB
Video Device upon start of the computer.
• Once the installation nishes, the maximum resolution for still images is 4608 x 3456 px.
Care and Cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause
damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a suitable dry, bre-free cloth, taking care not to scratch the lens cover.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
You thus fulll your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Intended Use
This plug and play device provides 720P (Item No. 1601925)/Full HD 1080P (Item No. 1923819) video
quality with a built in microphone for clear audio. It connects to the USB port on your computer and has a
versatile desktop or laptop mounting system.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
result in short circuits, res or other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.
