installation techniques for the Articulating Tablet Holder
1.2 Purpose of Equipment
The 202150 ALTO Articulating Arm Holder was developed to add a way to hold and secure
tablets/smartphones using pre-existing baseplates in the aircraft. Removal of the
outdated, low resolution monitors and the addition of the Articulating Arm Holder allows
for a simple and instant upgrade with no modification to existing structures. The
articulating arm holders can be quickly removed for taxi, take off, and landing. MyGoFlight
offers a universal tablet holder, or custom holders to attach to your device.
1.3 Operation
To install, place the bottom expanding collet into the baseplate. Align the keyway so the
collet drops to the bottom of the baseplate. Rotate the knurled knob clockwise, securing
the expanding collet in the base plate. Loosen the knob located in the middle of the arm.
Adjust the arm to the desired position. Tighten the knob located in the middle of the arm
to lock the position.
Take the tablet or smartphone with correct MGF device holder (sold separately) and
connect to the arm.
To remove for taxi/take off/landing, squeeze the green buttons on the round attachment
point of the arm and pull to remove the tablet/smartphone. Rotate the knurled knob
counterclockwise until loose. Pull up to remove the arm from the baseplate.
