Remote control installation
1. According to the figure display below, place the remote control with face down,
then open the cover of battery apartment.
2. As in the figure display below, install two AA batteries. (The + and - symbol of
battery must match with the marks on the remote).
3.Close the cover of battery apartment.
Cautions for using remote control
Confirm there is no object between the
remote control and the remote sensor
of TV set.
Sunshine or other strong light will
interfere the signal sent by the remote
control. In this situation turn the TV
set to avoid the direct light source.
Do not put the remote control in direct
heat or a damp place, or potential
damage to the remote may occur.
Please use two AA 1.5V batteries.
Do not mix battery types.
Install the batteries as the correct
polarities.
Do not use the rechargeable batteries.

BASE ASSEMBLY METHOD
(1)Take out the complete set from the packing box.
(2)Take out the base column from the packing box.
(3)Take out the soleplate from the packing box.
(4)Take out six M4×20 screws from the accessory bag(twelve screws in all).
(5)Use six M4×20 screws to tighten the column on the soleplate.
(6)Use six M4×20 screws to tighten the base on the complete set.

BASIC OPERATION
1. If the TV set is in standby status, pressing the power
switch on the remote control or TV set will turn the
power on to the set.
2. Pressing power switch on the remote control or
the TV set again, the TV set will enter standby
status.

Operation instructions

1.Press MENU button to open the menu, use CH+/- button to select every menu
separately, use VOL+/- button to enter.

AUTO SEARCH
Using AUTO SEARCH can search all available
channels. We recommend using auto search to
search the program when you use this TV set for
the first time.
1.Press MENU button to select source menu.
2.Press CH+/- button to select AUTO SEARCH.
3.Press VOL+/- button to start searching, press MENU
button to finish auto search.
Note: In most cases you will only have to run the Auto
Search function once, unless you change your
cable provider.
When you can’t get satisfactory tuning on a channel,
you can fine tune to correct.
1. Press MENU button to select source menu.
2. Press CH+/- button to select FINE TUNE.
3. Press VOL+/- button to start fine tune until you
obtain the best picture and sound, then loose
the button, press MENU button to exit.

MTS is the U.S. standard for broadcasting stereo TV
sound. A large number of TV shows are now
broadcast in stereo sound using this technology.

CCD is in OFF mode, the CCD content will not
display; when it is in CC 1 mode, the CLOSED
CAPTION will be started, and the contents of
CLOSED CAPTION1 will be displayed after the
FUNCTION menu disappears; in a similar way,
in CC 2/CC3/CC4 mode, the contents of CLOSED
CAPTION2/CLOSE CAPTION3/CLOSE
CAPTION4 will be displayed after the FUNCTION
menu disappears. When it is in TEXT1 mode, the
TEXT1will be started, and the contents of TEXT1
will be displayed after the FUNCTION menu
disappears; in a similar way, when it is TEXT2/
TEXT3/TEXT4 mode, the TEXT2/TEXT3/TEXT4
will be started, and the content of TEXT2/TEXT3/
TEXT4 will be displayed after the FUNCTION menu
disappears. When the set is in CCMUTE mode and the
sound is muted, the CCMUTE will display CC1 content,
When it is in XDS mode, the XDS will be started, and the
contents of XDS will be displayed.
Note: when the set has the OSD onscreen, the CCD function
will disappear and will reappear when the OSD moves
off screen.

TV-Y: For all children- this type of rated programs are designed for a very young

TV-Y7: Directed for older children -this type of rated programs may include
comedic violence or mild physical, or may frighten children under the age of 7.
TV-G: General Audience- this type of rated programs contains little or no violence,
no strong language, and little or no sexual dialogue and situation.
TV-PG: Parental Guidance Suggested- this type of rated
programs may contain
limited violence, some suggestive sexual dialogue and situation, and rare language.
TV-14: Parents strongly cautioned- this type of rated programs may contain sexual
content, strong language and more intense violence .

2. Press VOL+/- button to enter INPUT PASSWORD.
3. Input any four digits that you can easily remember.
4. Input the new password again. Then the screen will
display CHANGE SUCCESS.
Note: Once you set the new password for the particular
channel, that channel will be blocked. This way you are
the only one who can access that channel.
PARENTAL GUIDANCE (P.G.) ON/OFF set
1.Press CH+/- button to select P.G. item.
2.Press VOL+/- button to select P.G. ON or OFF.
When BLOCKED is selected, the P.G. function
is activated. When you watch the TV RATING or
MOVIE RATING, the screen is blue and display the
rating that received; when UNBLOCK is selected,
the P.G. function will not be activated. At this
time the rating that set in TV RATING or MOVIE
RATING is not available.

HOW TO ENTER AV1, AV2, S-VIDEO, YPbPr,
VGA AND HDMI
1.Press TV/AV button on the remote control to
enter the display as indicated in the menu at the right.
2.Press CH+/- button or press TV/AV button on the
remote control to select TV, AV1, AV2, S-VIDEO,
YPbPr, VGA or HDMI.
HOW TO SET AV1, AV2, S-VIDEO or YPbPr MENU
AV1, AV2, S-VIDEO or YPbPr settings are similar to TV.
Please refer to TV mode menu.

PICTURE
1. Press MENU button to select PICTURE menu.
2. Press CH+/- button to select the item that needs adjust.

-This TV can receive the High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI).
-This TV supports HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Contents Protection) Protocol for
720x480pm 1280x720p, and 1920x1080i resolution.
To get the best picture quality, adjust the DVD Player or Set Top Box’s output resolution
to 1280x720p, and the PC graphics card’s output resolution to 1024x768, 60Hz.
-If the source device has an HDMI output, no other audio connection are necessary
because HDMI-to-HDMI connecting includes both video and audio connections.
-If the source device has a DVI output and no HDMI output, a separate connection is
necessary.
How To Connect
When the source device (DVD player or Set Top Box) supports HDMI
1. Connect the source device to HDMI port of this TV with an HDMI cable (not
supplied with this product).
2. No separate audio connection is necessary.
When the source device (DVD player or Set Top Box) supports DVI
1. Connect the DVD to HDMI port of this TV with a HDMI-to-DVI cable (not supplied
with this product).

Connect DVD AUDIO OUT to VGA
AUDIO IN port of this TV set with DVI
audio cable (not supplied with this product).
How To Use
-If the source device supports Auto HDMI/DVI function,
the output resolution of the source device will be
automatically set to 1280x720p.
-If the source device does not support Auto HDMI/DVI,
you need to set the output resolution appropriately.
To get the best picture quality, adjust the output
resolution of the source device to 1280x720p.
-Select HDMI or DVI input source by using TV/AV button.
How To Set HDMI
The method to set is similar to VGA or YPbPr.
Note: If the input signal is an HDTV signal, the method
to set is similar to YPbPr. If the input signal is an RGB
signal, the method to set is similar to VGA. The system
will recognize the type of signal automatically.

EXTERNAL AUDIO AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT CONNECTION
You can connect outside signal source VCR, VCD,
DVD , PC equipment to the TV set.
Antenna Input
1.Connect the coaxial cable input to the back cable
input of the LCD.
2. Connect the antenna to the source coaxial input.
3. Press TV/AV button to select TV mode.
AV input
1.Connect audio video output port on source to
AUDIO IN and VIDEO IN port in TV set.
2. Press TV/AV button to select component
VIDEO mode.
3. Press PLAY button on source to start watching.
S-VIDEO input
If you use S terminal as signal input source,
the image quality will be better than video(AV).
1.Connect S terminal output on source to S terminal
input in TV set.
2.Connect S terminal left/right audio output on source to
the relevant port in TV set.
3.Press TV/AV button repeatedly until the display
mode is S-VIDEO.
4.Press PLAY button on source to start watching..
DTV input
1. Composite terminal (Y/PbCb/PrCr) connect to the
composite output of picture output device (such as
DVD, HDTV TUNER and so on ), the sound is input
from AUDIO IN:
2.Press TV/AV button to select YPbPr mode.
3.Press PLAY button on the external device to start
watching.
HDMI input
1.Connect HDMI signal source output to the HDMI
input in this TV set.
2.Press TV/AV button to select HDMI mode.
3.Press PLAY button on the external device to start

DVI input
1.Connect DVI signal source output to the HDMI
input in this TV set.
2.Connect audio output to the VGA audio input of
this TV set with DVI audio cable.

1. Connect the VGA output port in the computer to the VGA port in the TV set.
2. Connect the audio cable in computer to VGA AUDIO IN port in TV set.
3. Press TV/AV button to select VGA mode.
4. Turning on the computer, the screen image of the computer will display on the
TV set.
At this time, the TV set can be used as a computer display.
Note:
1. If the temperature of the TV set is rather low, it is normal that there may be some
some artifacts when the set is first turned on.

2. Nonconforming pixels may occur on the panel, but they have no influence on the
normal function of the display.
