Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement
You are cautioned that c hanges or m odific ations not expressly approved by the part responsible for compliance could void the user’s
authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to com ply w ith the limits for a Class A digital device, pursua nt to Part 15 of the FCC
Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the e quipment is operated in
a comm ercial environm ent. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequenc y energy and, if not installed and us ed
in accordance w ith the instruction m anual, may cause harmful interference to radio comm unications. Operation of this equipment
in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in w hich case the user w ill be required to cor rect the interference at his
own expense.
If this eq uipment does ca use interference with radio communications services, w hich can be determined by turning the equipment
off and on, you are encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following meas ures:
• Reorient or re locate th e receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connec t the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is con
nected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
This dev ice complies with Part 15 of the FCC R ules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. this device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may c ause undesired opera tion of the device.
FCC RF Radiation Exposure Statement: This device is c apable of operating in 802.11a mode. For 802.11a devices oper ating in t he
frequency range of 5.15 - 5.25 GHz , they are restricted for indoor operations to reduce any potential harmful interference for Mobile
Satellite Services (MSS ) in the US. WIFI Access P oints that are capable of allowing your device to operate in 8 02.11a mode (5 .15
- 5.25 GHz band) are optimized for indoor use only. If your W IFI network is capab le of operating in this m ode, pleas e res trict your
WIFI use indoors to n ot violate federal regulations to protect Mobile Satellite Services.

1.8 International Safety Standards
Standards overview
This equ ipment is built in accordance with the requirements o f the international safety standards IEC60950 -1, E N60950-1,
UL60950-1 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No.60950-1, which are the safety standards of information technology equipment including
electrical bus iness equipment. These safety standards impose im portant requirements on the use of safety critical components,
materials and ins ulation, in order to protect the user or operator against risk of electric shock and energy hazard and having access
to live parts. Safety standards also impose limits to the internal and external temperature rises, radiation levels, mec hanical stability
and strength, e nclosure cons truction an d protection against the risk of fire. Simulated single fault condition testing ensures the
safety of the equipm ent to the user even w he n the e quipment’s norm al operation fails.
