INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING LYTESPOT

TO LYTESPAN
®
TRACK
For use with Lytespan
®
Track Systems Only

1. Insert into LYTESPAN TRACK. (Fig. 1) LOCKING LEVER
must be on the same side of track as BEAD.
2. Rotate FITTING clockwise until LOCKING LEVER snaps
and locks in place. (Fig. 2 & 3)
3. To remove: depress LOCKING LEVER, then rotate FITTING
90° counterclockwise.

See Fig. 4. BRASS CONTACT can be raised or lowered.
Broken line indicates position for 1 circuit or lower circuit
of 2 circuit track system.
To convert attachment FITTING for upper circuit of 2 circuit
track, raise BRASS CONTACT to high position by lifting
CONTACT as high as stop permits and CONTACT clicks
into place.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR LAMPING (Fig. 5 & 6)
1. Remove LOUVER by pulling straight out. (Fig. 5)
2. WARNING: RISK OF FIRE
Use only T-4 Tungsten – Halogen outside frosted
minican base L A M P, 150 watts maximum. Insert L A M P
into S O C K E T. Turn clockwise until tight. To remove, turn
counterclockwise. (Fig. 6)
3. Replace LOUVER with GLASS LAMP GUARD in place by
pushing straight up until LOUVER is flush with FIXTURE
HOUSING.

WA R N I N G : Lamp manufacturers require the
GLASS LAMP GUARD be in place before energizing
L A M P , and that great care should be taken that
LAMP is fully cooled before relamping.
