Absolute Acoustics HDBASET NDS-570HD Series allows transmission of video and audio signals over a single Cat5e, Cat6/6a, or Cat7 twisted-pair cable at distances up to 70m for 1080p resolutions and 40m for 4K/UHD resolutions. NDS-570HD is fully licensed and compatible with HDCP 2.2 and features pass-thru of HDMI-CEC commands. IR and RS232 extension ports allow long-range control signals transmission. HDBaseT outputs provides electrical power supply to the remote receiver units through the same Cat cable, making the deployment process more manageable.

Absolute Acoustics® NDS-570HD is a Class B HDMI over HDBaseT™ extender set capable of transmitting HDMI and control signals for
distances up to 230ft (70m) over a single twisted-pair cable.
NDS-570HD is capable to extend 1080p video up to 230ft (70m) and 4K/UHD video up to 130ft (40m) with embedded multi-channel
audio, RS232 and bi-directional IR control signals. Both TX and RX units can be remotely powered by PoC technology (a single power
supply is required), cleaning up the installation.
• Transmission of HDMI, control signals and
electrical power for distances up to 230ft (70m) at
1080p resolutions, or 130ft (40m) at 4K/UHD
resolutions over a single twisted pair cable.
• Compatible with the new ultra-high denition
sources and displays, sending signals with
resolutions up to 2160@30 with YCbCr 4:4:4, or
2160@60 with 4:2:0 color format;
• Fully licensed and compatible with HDCP 2.2, the
latest content protection specication, enabling
the transmission of ultra-high denition signals
directly from the source;
• Allow the pass-thru of HDMI-CEC commands,
enabling user to control the entire system with a
single remote;
• IR and RS232 extension ports, allowing long-range
control signals transmission over a single cable;
• HDBaseT™ outputs provides electrical power
supply to the remote receiver units through the
same CAT cable, making the deployment process
much easier;
• Slim design, allowing easy installation behind TVs
or in furniture.

conditions. In a real application, the transmission distances may vary due to
installation conditions. Always work with a safety factor.
For termination, the 568B standard is recommended use the appropriate connector
with its matching cable.

ABOUT HDBASET™ CABLING
Sending HDMI signals (specially at 4K/UHD resolutions) through HDBaseT™ technology is highly sensitive to the quality of cabling and
installation techniques. Thus, we strongly recommend the use of solid conductors CAT6 twisted-pair cables (or higher). The
transmission distances for each kind of cable are listed in the table below.

1. Begin with the NDS-570HD units and all external devices
turned o and with power cables removed.
2. Place the NDS-571HD-TX and NDS-572HD-RX units at the
installation site, respecting the minimum spaces for ventilation.
3. Connect the source device to the input port of the NDS
-571HD-TX unit, and the HDMI display to the HDMI output port of
the NDS-572HD-RX unit.
4. Connect the HDBaseT™ link cable between the TX and RX unit,
using a quality twisted pair cable.
5. [Optional] Connect the control system IR and RS232 ports to
the matching ports of NDS-570HD units.
6. Connect power to the NDS-571HD-TX or NDS-572HD-RX unit.
The other unit will be feed by Power over Cable technology.
7. Connect external devices to the power supply and turn they on.
8. Perform usability tests and validate the installation.

Control Ports Configuration
RS232 ports of NDS-570HD can be used for signal extension, carrying the signals from the local port to the matching port on remote
unit. The connection cable between unit and the RS232 sender equipment must be assembled with the following conguration:
