Whenthereislessthan10%ofspace
availableinyourphonememory,your
phonecannotreceivenewmessages.
You needtocheckyourphone
memoryanddeletesomedata,such
asapplicationsormessages,tomake
morememoryavailable.
To uninstall applications:
1. OntheHomescreen,touch

2. Onceallapplicationsappear,scroll
toandselecttheapplicationyou

Extendyourbattery'slifebetween
chargesbyturningofffeaturesthatyou
don'tneedtohavingrunningconstantly
inthebackground.Youcanmonitor
howapplicationsandsystemresources
consumebatterypower.
Extending your phone's battery life:
•Turnoffradiocommunicationsyouare
notusing.IfyouarenotusingWi-Fi,
BluetoothorGPS,turnthemoff.
•Reducescreenbrightnessandseta
shorterscreentimeout.
•Turnoffautomaticsyncingfor
Gmail™,Calendar,Contactsandother
applications.
•Someapplicationsyouhave
downloadedmayreducebattery
power.

runningonbatterypower.Thescreen
showstheapplicationsorservicesusing
batterypower,listedinorderfromthe
greatesttosmallestamountused.

Thiscannotbereversed.Remember
tobackupanyimportantdatabefore
performingahardreset.
6. Opening and switching
applications
MultitaskingiseasywithAndroid
becauseyoucankeepmorethanone
applicationrunningatthesametime.
There'snoneedtoquitanapplication
beforeopeninganother.Useandswitch
betweenseveralopenapplications.
Androidmanageseachapplication,
stoppingandstartingthemasneeded
toensurethatidleapplicationsdon't

8. When the screen freezes
If the screen freezes or the phone
does not respond when you try to
operate it:
Removethebattery,reinsertit,then
turnthephoneon.

for10secondstoturnitoff.
