BLX30N-B5, BLX301J-B5 & BLX300J-B5 blender has been

designed for blending and mixing solid and liquid food and

beverage ingredients. This product is intended for household

use only.

This appliance is not to be used in:

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, ofﬁces and other working

environments;

• Farm houses;

• By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type

environments;

• Bed and breakfast type environments;

Using your appliance

• Always take care when using the appliance.

• Be careful when handling the sharp cutting blades,

emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

• Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left

unattended and before assembling, disassembling or

cleaning.

• Never pull the power supply cord to disconnect the plug

from the socket. Keep the power supply cord away from

heat, oil and sharp edges.

• This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the

appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

• Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor

or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to

a sudden steaming.

• Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources or in

a heated oven.

• Always route the cord carefully so it does not hang over

the edge of a worktop and cannot be caught accidentally

or tripped over.

• Never operate an appliance directly below the

socket-outlet it is connected to.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualiﬁed

persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Avoid spilling water on the Power Base.

• Do not use the appliance near ﬂammable or explosive

materials.

• Do not use the appliance outdoors.

• Operate the appliance only with dry hands.

• If the power supply cord is damaged during use,

disconnect the appliance from the power supply

from the power supply.

not in use, before ﬁtting or removing parts and before

• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means

of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

• The motor equipped with an overheating protection

device, when the motor temperature is too high, it will

automatically stop working. Unplug the power cord when

the machine has stopped, then return to work again after

the motor cools (about 15 minutes).

Inspection and repairs

• Before use, check the appliance for damaged or

defective parts. Check for breakage of parts, damage to

switches and any other conditions that may affect its

operation.

• Do not use the appliance if any part is damaged or

defective.

• Have any damaged or defective parts repaired or

replaced by an authorised repair agent.

• Before use, check the power supply cord for signs of

damage, ageing and wear.

• Do not use the appliance if the power supply cord or

mains plug is damaged or defective.

• If the power supply cord or mains plug is damaged or

defective it must be repaired by an authorised repair

How to use the Blender (BLX300-B5,

BLX301-B5, BLX30N-B5, BLX301J-B5 &

BLX300J-B5)

After unpacking, disassemble unit before using ﬁrst time.

Wash all parts except motor base in warm, soapy water.

Rinse and dry immediately.

Work for 1 minute and leave an interval of 1 minute

1. Wash the foods (fruits, vegetables, etc.) that will be

blended( peel skin or remove pits when necessary).

Cut them into small pieces to ﬁt for blending.

2. Put the sliced foods into the transparent plastic jar and

put on the top cover. Each time of blending, do not put

more than half of the cup scale (approx.0.5 liter) of food

in it. Small quantity is not preferable either.

Proper quantity of water should be added during

blending.

3. Plug on the power supply and adjust the switch to speed

1 ( low speed) or speed 2 (high speed) position, the

blender begins working. It only takes 1 minute to ﬁnish

the blending progress. Then adjust the switch to “0”

position to turn it off, detach the blender and pour out

blended food.

4. The blender will also operate when the switch is held on

“Pulse” position. When the switch is loosened, it will

return to “0” position and shut down automatically. This

function is designed for short-time blending(a few

seconds), which makes it easy to control the blending

time and for short time using.

How to use the Grinder (BLX300-B5,

BLX301-B5, BLX301J-B5 & BLX300J-B5)

Work for 15 seconds and leave an Interval of 5 seconds.

1. Such as beans, rice, peanuts and coffee beans, etc. dry

foods that able to be grinded into powder.

2. Put foods into the dry mill and lock it onto the motor

base. Do not add in water when milling.

3. Plug the power supply and adjust the switch to speed 1

or speed 2 position.

Thus the foods can be grinded into powder very soon.

Adjust the switch back on “0’ position to turn it off. Then

remove the dry mill and pour out the powder that have

been processed.

4. The dry mill also can operate when the switch is held on

“Pulse” position. When the switch is loosened, it will

return to “0” position and shut off automatically. This

function is designed for short time dry milling, which

makes it easy to control for few seconds working.

Tips for blending

• A brief whirl in the blender will rescue a lumpy gravy, or

an eggs-based sauce that has separated.

• Food items for blending should be cut into cubes

(approximately 2-3cm), this will assist in achieving an

even result.

• To ensure efﬁcient mixing when blending dry mixtures, it

may be necessary to stop the blender and push

ingredients down the sides of the jar with a spatula (not

included).

• When pureeing fruit or vegetable, cooked or raw, cut into

small pieces to facilitate blending.

• When blending a variety of ingredients together, blend

the liquids, ﬁrst, then add dry ingredients.

• Always ensure stones are removed from fruit and bones

from meat as these can harm the blades.

• Do not process hot liquids in your blender. Allows it to

cool before processing.

Always ventilate the jar when pureeing warm ingredients.

This is achieved by lifting the ﬁller cup out of the lid, after

starting the blender.

After use

• Switch off, remove the plug from the socket and let the

appliance cool down before leaving it unattended and

before changing, cleaning or inspecting any parts of the

appliance.

• When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry

place. Children should not have access to stored

appliances.

Cleaning

Caution: Please wait till all the components stop running

before disassemble. Be carefully when disassemble or

cleaning, as the blade is very sharp.

1. First unplug, disassemble the grinding cup from the

Base. Remove the Blender jar from the motor base and

remove the removable parts.

2. Rinse the above parts under water tap or put them in

warm water added with detergent for cleaning.

3. Let all parts dry thoroughly after cleaning.

NoteAll parts except the motor base are dishwasher safe

To clean the motor base

Use a damp, soft sponge with detergent and wipe over the

motor base.

Note: Never immerse the appliance, cord set or plug in

liquids.

• When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry

place. Children should not have access to stored

appliances.

Maintenance

1. The product should be used frequently to keep the

motor dry.

2. If the unit is not for use in a long time, please put it in dry

and ventilated places for storage to prevent the motor

from getting rotten due to damp.

Electrical safety

Before use, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the

voltage on the rating plate.

This appliance is double insulated in

accordance with EN 60335-2-14;

therefore no earth wire is required.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer or an authorised BLACK+DECKER

Service Centre in order to avoid a hazard.

To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse

the cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquid.

Mains plug replacement

If a new mains plug needs to be ﬁtted:

• Safely dispose of the old plug.

• Connect the brown lead to the live terminal in the new

plug.

• Connect the blue lead to the neutral terminal.

• If the product is class I (earthed), connect the

green/yellow lead to the earth terminal.

Note! If your product is class II double insulated (only 2

wires in the cord set), no connection is to be made to the

earth terminal.

Follow the ﬁtting instructions supplied with good quality

plugs.

Any replacement fuse must be of the same rating as the

original fuse supplied with the product.

Warning! The above section on mains plug replacement is

for authorized service centre persons.

Protecting the environment

Separate collection. This product must not be

disposed of with normal household waste.

Should you ﬁnd one day that your BLACK+DECKER product

needs replacement, or if it is of no further use to you, do not

dispose of it with other household waste. Make this product

available for separate collection.

Comment utiliser le mixeur (BLX300-B5,

BLX301-B5, BLX30N-B5, BLX301J-B5 et

BLX300J-B5)

Après le déballage, démontez l’appareil avant la première

utilisation.

Lavez toutes les pièces sauf le socle-moteur dans de l’eau

chaude savonneuse.

Rincez et séchez immédiatement.

Utilisez l’appareil pendant 1 minute, puis laissez-le

reposer pendant 1 minute.

Lavez les aliments (fruits, légumes, etc.) à mélanger

(épluchez-les ou enlevez les noyaux si nécessaire).

Coupez-les en petits morceaux pour les mélanger.

2. Placez les aliments tranchés dans la cruche en plastique

transparent et installez le couvercle supérieur. Pour

chaque mixage, ne mettez pas d’aliments au-delà de la

moitié de l’échelle de la cruche (environ 0,5 litre).

Une petite quantité n’est pas non plus bonne.

Une quantité appropriée d’eau doit être ajoutée durant le

mixage.

3. Branchez l’appareil sur le secteur et tournez le

commutateur sur la vitesse 1 (vitesse lente) ou la vitesse 2

(vitesse élevée), le mixeur commence à tourner. Une

seule minute est sufﬁsante pour terminer le mixage.

Ensuite, remettez le commutateur sur la position « 0 »

pour l’éteindre, détachez la cruche de mixage et versez

les aliments mélangés.

4. Le mixeur fonctionnera également si le commutateur est

fonctionner. Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation

lorsque l’appareil est arrêté, puis recommencez à

l’utiliser une fois que le moteur est refroidi (après

environ 15 minutes).

1. Tout d’abord, démontez le bol de broyage du socle.

Retirez la cruche de mixage du socle-moteur et retirez

les pièces amovibles.

2. Rincez les pièces ci-dessus sous l’eau du robinet ou

mettez-les dans de l’eau chaude avec du détergent pour

le nettoyage.

3. Laissez toutes les pièces sécher complètement après le

nettoyage.

Remarque : Toutes les pièces sauf le socle-moteur peuvent

être lavées au lave-vaisselle.

Remarque : Le socle-moteur ne peut pas être lavé au

lave-vaisselle

Pour nettoyer la base contenant le moteur

Utilisez une éponge douce et humide avec un détergent

et essuyez la base contenant le moteur.

Comment utiliser le broyeur (BLX300-B5,

BLX301-B5, BLX301J-B5 et BLX300J-B5)

Utilisez l’appareil pendant 15 secondes, puis laissez-le

reposer pendant 5 secondes.

1. Pour les aliments secs tels que les haricots, le riz, les

arachides et les grains de café, etc., qui peuvent être

réduits en poudre.

2. Mettez les aliments dans le bol de broyage à sec et

verrouillez-le sur le socle-moteur. N’ajoutez pas d’eau

durant le broyage.

3. Branchez l’appareil sur le secteur et réglez le

commutateur sur la position 1 ou 2.

Les aliments seront ainsi réduits en poudre très

rapidement.

Remettez le commutateur sur la position « 0 » pour

éteindre l’appareil. Ensuite, retirez le broyeur à sec et

versez la poudre obtenue.

4. Le broyeur à sec peut également fonctionner lorsque le

commutateur est maintenu sur la position « Pulse ».

Lorsque le commutateur est relâché, il revient à la

position « 0 » et se ferme automatiquement. Cette

fonction est conçue pour le broyage à sec de courte

durée, qui permet de faire fonctionner facilement

l’appareil pendant quelques secondes seulement.

• Un mixage bref dans le mixeur permet de sauver une

sauce grumeleuse ou une sauce à base d’œufs qui n’a

pas pris.

Changemevnt de la ﬁche secteur
