Sandstrom SHBTDAB is a Hi-Fi system that allows you to listen to music from various sources. It comes with two speakers that can be connected to the amplifier at the rear side. Connecting the DAB/FM Aerial
Connect the DAB/FM wire aerial to the DAB/FM aerial socket on the rear of the main unit.

Speaker Connections
Connect the speaker cables at the rear of the speakers to the speaker sockets (L/R) at the rear side of the amplifier.

Connecting to the Mains Supply
Insert the mains plug into a wall socket. Your system is now ready to use.

Setting the Clock Automatically
Tune into either a DAB or RDS station and the clock
will be automatically set within a few minutes.
Remove all item from the packaging. Retain the
packaging.
If you dispose of it please do so according to any local
regulations.

Please follow this quick start guide for a successful first time set up.
We recommend that you spend some time reading the instruction manual in order
to fully understand all the operational features it offers.
Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep the instruction
manual for future reference.
Please ensure that the mains cable is DISCONNECTED from the mains socket before connecting any cables.
Install the batteries correctly by following the polarity (+ and -)
indications in the battery compartment.

Basic Operation
Switching the unit On
Press the STANDBY button at the front or on the
remote control to switch the unit on.
Selecting Modes
Turn the SOURCE dial on the unit repeatedly to select
TUNER, DAB, AUX, AUDIO IN, DISC, USB or BT
mode.
You can also press the short-cut buttons on the
remote control ( FM/DAB, CD/USB, AUX, AUDIO IN,
BLUETOOTH ) to select your desired mode.

2. Insert two AAA batteries
with correct polarity (+/-) as
indicated.
1. Press and hold at the
back of the remote control
to open the back cover.
3. Replace the back cover.
Setting the Clock Manually
1. Set the unit to Standby mode.
2. Press the CLOCK button
on the remote control,
“CLOCK 24HR” will show
and “24” will blink. Set the
clock to 12 or 24 hour format
with the + / buttons. Press
the CLOCK button again, the
hour indicator will blink.
3. Set the hour with the + /
buttons.
4. Press the CLOCK button again,
the minute indicator will blink.
5. Set the minute with + /
buttons.
6. Press the CLOCK button, the
built-in clock starts operating.
