Improper use can, however, lead to personal injury and damage.
To avoid the risk of accidents and damage to the turbobrush,
please read these instructions carefully before using it for the first
time. They contain important information on its safety, operation
and maintenance.
Keep these instructions in a safe place and ensure new users are
familiar with the content. Pass them on to any future owner.
Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the mains supply
when you have finished using it, before changing over
accessories, as well as for maintenance work and cleaning.
Switch off at the wall socket and unplug it.
Correct application
~
The mini turbobrush must only be used for vacuuming dry surfa-
ces. Do not use on people or animals. Any other use, modification or
alteration to the brush is not permitted.
~
This mini turbobrush can only be used by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or
knowledge, if they are supervised whilst using it or have been shown
how to use it in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Safety with children
~
Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the
vacuum cleaner and the mini turbobrush unless they are constantly
supervised.
~
Children aged eight years and older may only use the vacuum
cleaner and the mini turbobrush if they have been shown how to use
them in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
~
Children may only carry out cleaning and maintenance of the
vacuum cleaner and mini turbobrush under adult supervision.

This appliance is not a toy! To prevent the risk of injury do not let
children play with the vacuum cleaner or with the mini turbobrush.
Technical safety
~
Check the mini turbobrush for any visible signs of damage before
use. Do not use if damaged.
~
Do not let the mini turbobrush get wet. If it needs cleaning only do
so with a dry cloth or slightly damp cloth.
Correct use
~
Do not touch the roller of the mini turbobrush while it is rotating.
~
Do not use the mini turbobrush at head height.
~
Keep the mini turbobrush away from curtains, clothing etc.
~
Do not use the mini turbobrush to vacuum any hard surfaces,
such as furniture fronts, wooden and stone flooring etc.
~
Do not vacuum up any inflammable or combustible matter or gases
and do not vacuum in areas where such substances are stored.
~
Do not vacuum any surface where there is a danger of it being
sucked up or becoming entangled in the roller.
~
Do not vacuum up any water, liquid or damp dirt. Wait until any
freshly cleaned or shampooed carpets or floor coverings are
completely dry before vacuuming.
~
Do not vacuum up ashes or coal, whether glowing or apparently
extinguished.
Miele cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect use
or operation or by non-compliance with these Warning and Safety
instructions.

Before using the mini turbobrush it is
essential to read and observe the

vacuum cleaner.

The mini turbobrush is intended for
vacuuming upholstery, mattresses, car
seats, carpeted stairs etc.
The rotating roller brush is ideal for
removing hair and fluff.
It is important to observe the flooring
manufacturer's cleaning and care
instructions.
Using the mini turbobrush
^ Attach the mini turbobrush to the
hand-piece or the suction tube, as
required.
^
To achieve the best results, pass the
mini turbobrush slowly backwards
and forwards over the surface you
are cleaning.
Maintenance and care of the
mini turbobrush
,
Always disconnect the vacuum
cleaner from the electrical supply for
maintenance work and for cleaning.
Switch off at the wall socket and
withdraw the plug.
Removing threads and hairs
(see illustration on page 2)

Cut any threads or hairs that have
become entangled in the roller with a
pair of scissors. Then run the vacuum
cleaner to vacuum up the bits.
For more obstinate tangles or
blockages inside the mini turbobrush,
the cover can be opened. Any large
particles inside it can then be easily
removed.
^ Turn the grip so that the release
button is in the middle of the guide
(illustration a).
^
Press the release button (illustation
b) and pull the grip out from the mini
turbobrush as far as possible
(illustration c).
^
Lift the upper part of the casing as far
as it will go and remove any debris
from the inside of the casing and
from the roller brush.
^
Close the casing, and push the grip
back into position until it clicks into
place over the release button.

dry before vacuuming.

Do not use the Hand-held Turbobrush to vacuum anything that
may damage the rollers. Nails, safety pins, buttons, etc. should not
be vacuumed.

Do not pick up items that are burning or smoking, such as ciga

rettes, matches, or hot ashes.

Using the hand-held Turbo-
brush
^ Fit the hand-held Turbobrush on the
suction wand or on the handpiece,
depending on what is the most con

venient for you for the type of vacuu

ming you will be doing.

For best results, pass the hand-held
Turbobrush slowly backwards and
forwards over the surface to be va

cuumed.
Maintenance and care

Always turn the vacuum cleaner
off and remove the plug from the
electrical outlet before cleaning or
servicing the hand-held Turbobrush.

vacuum cleaner to vacuum up the
pieces.
For more obstinate dirt or blockages in-
side the hand-held Turbobrush, the co-
ver can be opened. Any large particles
inside it can then be easily removed.
