USE OF DAUGHTER BOARDS WITH THE AMG2931, AMG2932, AMG2941 AND AMG2942
The three available data channels on the AMG2930 and AMG2940 Series units are configured by fitting daughter boards
into the appropriate channel slots on the main board.
Daughter boards are fitted on the main PCB either at the factory of in the field. There are three daughter board positions
corresponding to Data/Audio Channels 1, Channel 2 and Channel 3. To fit the daughter boards remove the main PCB
from the case. Line up the pin headers on the main PCB with the sockets on the daughter board. Push the daughter board
onto the header pins. See below for the daughter positions.
AMG2900 PCB REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
The PCB is removed from its housing by unscrewing the two screws on the top and bottom of the rear panel. The rear
panel can then slide out with the PCB attached. Antistatic precautions must be taken when handling the PCB.
When replacing the PCB into the housing utmost care must be taken not to trap the optical fibre
