Quick Start Guide - 6815 Flashdrive Camera
Insert a Micro SD Card: Under the USB Cap there's a slot to insert a Micro SD Card with a max size of 32gb. With the
Gold Metal Contacts facing the USB input, insert the card and push down until you hear a little click. Click it back
down in order to remove the SD Card.
How to Charge the Device:
As the Video/Audio Recorder is disguised as a USB Thumb Drive, you are able to insert it into a computer or a USB
wall charger without a need for a cable, though one is still provided. Leave it plugged in for at least 3 hours to get a
full 2 hour battery. A blue light will flash while it's charging and will disappear when the battery is fully charged.

How to Power Device On:
On one side of the device there are two buttons and the other side has only one button. The button closest to the USB
input is the Power Button. Hold that down for a couple seconds and the device will vibrate once, it will go solid red to
indicate it is in Standby mode.
How to Power Device Off:
Hold down the Power Button for a couple seconds to turn the device off. It will vibrate longer than it did when you
first turned it on and the red light will flash 3 times and disappear to show it has been turned off.
How to Start Video Recording:
With the device in Standby, hold for a couple seconds the button next to the Power Button. The device will vibrate 2
times and the red light will flash 3 times to show it has started a recording. Quickly click and release the same button
to
stop the recording and bring it back to Standby mode.
How to take a Photo:
With the device in Standby, quickly click and release the button near the Power Button. The device will vibrate once,
flash the blue light, and then go back to Standby with the solid red light.
How to do Motion Detection:
With the device in Standby, quickly click and release the button on the other side from the Power Button. The device
will vibrate 3 times and the blue light will flash 4 times to indicate it is now in Motion Detection mode. Quickly click
and release the same button to stop the recording and bring it back to Standby mode.
How to Record Audio Only:
With the device in Standby, quickly click and release the Power Button. The device will vibrate once and the blue light
will flash 3 times. To stop the Audio Recording, quickly click and release the same button and the device will vibrate
once
and flash blue once before going solid red to indicate it's back in Standby.

How to Review/Delete your Files:
Plug the device into a computer by itself or using the included USB cable. When prompted, Open Folder to View Files
or navigate to your File Folders, search for a Removable Drive and double-click on that. Inside you'll see the DCIM
Folder and TAG time-setting file. Double-click on the DCIM Folder you'll see 3 more folders. 100MEDIA contains
your Video Record files, PHOTO your photos, and RECORD has your Audio Recordings. You can save the files by
clicking and dragging the file onto your desktop, or you can delete the files by clicking and dragging the file to the Re-
cycle Bin or by right-clicking with the mouse and hitting the “Delete” option.
How to Delete the files on a Mac
1. Open the DCIM folder
2. Open the 100MEDIA, PHOTO, RECORD folder depending on type of file
3. Right click on the file you wish to delete and select Delete
4. While the device is still plugged into the Mac go to your trash folder and empty trash.
Note: If the above step is not completed the files will not be fully deleted from the device and you will have a
phantom folder that will contain the deleted files that can only be seen by a Windows Computer
NOTE: If a folder does not automatically open when connected to PC, disconnect the device and preform the
following:
1. Open Control Panel by typing “control panel” in the Search bar
2. Select Programs
3. Under Default Programs, Click “Change default settings for media or devices”
4. Under Removable Devices, select “Open folder to view files”
5. Save
6. Reconnect the device to the PC
