includes all the necessary instructions and advice for using, cleaning

•Theuseofaccessorythatarenotrecommendedbythe

manufacturercancauseinjuriesandwillinvalidateanywarranty

thatyoumayhave.

•Nevermovetheappliancebypullingthecordandmakesurethe

cordcannotbecomeentangled.

•Donotusethisapplianceoutdoors.

•Makesurethatthecordisnothangingovertheedgeofthetable

orcounter,doesnottouchanyhotsurfacesoriscomingdirectly

intocontactwiththehotpartsoftheappliance.Donotplacethe

applianceunderneathorclosetocurtains,windowcoveringsetc.

•Makesurethatthemaximumlevelwillneverbeexceeded.

producer or importer or any person who is qualied, approved

and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid

all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this

•Openthepackagingandtakeouttheventilator.Checkthecontents

againstthelist.

•Placetheventilatoronaathorizontalsurface.Itmustnotbeat

aninclineduringuse.Checkthatthepowersupplyfromthemains

meetsthetechnicalcharacteristicswrittenontheventilator.

•Fillwithwater.Iftheventilatorisneworhasnotbeenusedforalong

timeandyouwanttouseitasahumidier,itisnecessarytollwith

waterbeforeuse.Checkthewaterlevelwhilelling.Stoptheunit

beforellingwithwatertoavoidelectricalbreakdowns.Oncethe

waterhasbeenlleduptothemaximumlevel,close.





•Inserttheplugintothesocketandactivatethedevicewiththeon/

offbutton.Whenyoupressagainthedevicewillturnoff.

•Seethefollowingscheduleforthedifferentfunctiontoselect.



WhenchoosingtheCoolfunctionthedevicewillblow

moistenedairbecausetheairwillbeblowntruethewetlter,

byaddingsomeicetothewaterthedevicewillblowcoldair.

Pressagainandthedevicewilloperatewithoutmoistenedair.



Thisoptionallowsyoutoactivatetheoscillationmode,press

onceonthe"Swing"buttonandtheunitwillautomatically

blowtheairowfromlefttorightinarangeof120degrees.

Thetimerallowsyoutosetthedesireddurationthe

devicewillfunction.



TheSpeedfunctionallowsyoutoselectthedesired

windspeed,youcanchoosebetweenthefunctionslow,

mediumandhigh.



Thekindfunctionallowsyoutochoosetwodifferent

programs

1.sleeping,thisprogramishealthyandpleasanttosleep

2.natural,thisprogramprovidesrealisticwindgusts



Usingthisfunctiontheventilatordispensealargenumber

ofnegativeionsintotheair.Negativeionsworktocleanthe

airandprovideyouwithafreshandhealthyenvironment.



•Cleaning:Afterbeingusedforalongtime,thestrainerbecomes

blockedwithdustordirt,whichaffectsthequalityoftheairandthe

fresheningeffect.Toclean,proceedasfollows:

o Unplugtheappliance

o Liftandtakeout(SeeFig.3Fig.4andFig.5)

o Mixacleaningproductwithcleanwatertoobtaintheright

 concentration.

o Putthestrainerinwashingupliquidfor10-5minutesandthen

 washitwithcleanwater(Fig.7)

o Re-installthestrainer

•Tocleantheoutsideoftheventilator,useadampcloth(orwitha

bitofcleaner).Donotusecorrosivecleanersorsolventsforthis

purpose.Theunitmustabsolutelynotberinsedwithwaterormay

neverimmersedinwateroranyotherliquid.

•Iftheventilatorisnotusedforalongperiodoftime,thewatertank

hastobeemptiedandcleaned.Allowtheventilatortorunatnormal

temperatureforawhilesotheinsideoftheunitandespeciallythe

strainerdriescompletely.Wrapitinaplasticbagandputitinthebox.



•Tristarisnotliablefordamagesoccurredthrough:

oIncasetheappliancehasfallen.

oIncasetheappliancehasbeentechnicallychangedbythe

owneroranotherthirdparty.

oIncaseofimproperuseoftheappliance.

oIncaseofnormalwearoftheappliance.

•Byexecutingrepairstheoriginalwarrantyperiodof2yearswill

notbeextended,northerighttoacompliednewwarranty.This

warrantyisonlylegalonEuropeansoil.Thiswarrantydoesnot

overruletheEuropeandirective1999/44/EC.

•Alwayskeepyourreceipt,withoutthisreceiptyoucannotclaimany

formofwarrantywhatsoever.

•Damagecausedbynotfollowingtheinstructionmanualwillleadto

avoidofwarranty,ifthisresultsinconsequentialdamagesTristar

willnotbeliable.

•Tristarwillnotbeliableformaterialdamageorpersonalinjury

causedbyimproperuseorifthesafetyinstructionsarenotproperly

executed.

•Cleaning,asmentionedinthismanual,istheonlynecessary

maintenanceforthisappliance.

•Whentheapplianceshouldberepaired,makesurethatthiswillbe

performedbyanauthorizedcompany.

•Thisappliancemaynotbeamendedorchanged.

•Ifproblemsariseduringthe2yearsfromthedateofpurchase,

whicharecoveredbythefactorywarranty,youcangobacktothe

pointofpurchasetoreplaceitforanewone.

•Forquestionsorcompliancespleasecontactyourretailer“pointof

purchase.”

•Thisapplianceiscoveredwitha24monthguaranteestartingon

thedateofpurchase(receipt).

•Onlymaterialormanufacturingdefectsareincludedinthis

warranty.

•Ifyouwishtomakeaclaimpleasereturntheentiremachineinthe

originalpackagingtoyourdealertogetherwiththereceipt.

•Damagetoaccessoriesdoesnotmeanautomaticfreereplacement

ofthewholeappliance.Insuchcasespleasecontactourhotline.

Brokenglassorbreakageofplasticpartsarealwayssubjecttoa

charge.

•Defectstoconsumablesorpartssubjecttowearing,aswellas

cleaning,maintenanceorthereplacementofthesepartsarenot

coveredbytheguaranteeandhencearetobepaid!

•Theguaranteelapsesincaseofunauthorizedtampering.

•Aftertheexpiryoftheguaranteerepairscanbecarriedbythe

competentdealerorrepairserviceagainstthepaymentofthe

ensuingcosts.





Thisapplianceshouldnotbeputintothedomesticgarbage

attheendofitsdurability,butmustbeofferedatacentral

pointfortherecyclingofelectricandelectronicdomesticappliances.
