The in and outputs as well as the Thru connection are electronically insulated from
each other
All six outputs have separate drivers for boosting the RDM / DMX signal
Operating elements and connections
1. POWER: On / o switch, for switching the device on and o .
2. LED: The red LED lights up when the device is switched on.
3. SIGNAL: The green LED lights up when a DMX signal is present.
4. RDM OUT: Connect a maximum of 6 devices to be controlled to these 3-pin and 5-pin XLR chassis sockets.
5. RDM IN: Connect the RDM / DMX controller, which transmits the control signals, to these 3-pin and 5-pin XLR chassis plugs.
6. RDM THRU: If necessary, connect another DD-6 RDM to these 3-pin and 5-pin XLR chassis sockets. The Link Out / Terminate switch must then be in the
"Link Out" position.
7. Link Out / Terminate If several DD-6 RDMs are connected in series, this switch must be in the "Terminate" position on the last device of the chain. For all other devices in
the chain, this switch must be in the "Link Out" position. Only then the input signals are also routed to the RDM THRU sockets.
8. RDM / DMX When this switch is in "DMX" position, the DD-6 RDM responds only to DMX input signals, and the communication between in and output is
monodirectional. When the switch is in "RDM" position, the DD-6 RDM responds to DMX and RDM input signals. The communication between
in and output is then bidirectional.
9. Fuse holder: Should the fuse have blown, disconnect the unit from the power supply and replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same type.
10. Power cord Connect the plug of the power cord to a properly wired power outlet.
