Trouble Shooting
Symptom Causes Action
1. LED light on receiver blinking
or battery icon on LCD on
transmitter.
2. LCD display is blank.
3. LCD display shows “funny”
display.

2. Check battery installation and

1. Move transmitter to a cooler
place and wait until temperature
drops below 99 degrees.

transmitter and receiver is more
than 30 feet.
1. Make sure the operating
distance is less than 30 feet.
4. Dip switches not all in the
corresponding positions either in
the handset or receiver box.
1. Open back of handset and small
panel on top of the receiver and
move all the dip switches to the
corresponding positions.

5. Appliance shuts itself
down without it manually or
thermostatically being asked to
do so.
1. Interference from another radio
signal, i.e., remotely operated
garage doors or similar remote
device within the property or a
taxi radio.
1. Set the stove to maximum burn
rate using the handset manually,
then operate any remote devices
in the property to ascertain which
remote is interfering with the
function of the system. Altering
the dip switches in the handset
and receiver may stop this
interference. See page 14.
NOTE: This equipment had been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to
Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference
in a residential installation. This equipment generates and can radiate radio frequency energy and if not installed
and used in accordance with instructions may cause interference to radio communications.
There is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. Re-orient or re-locate the
receiving antenna.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
