Wash Action
Models 551, 552, 751, 752
Suds Save
The WASH ACTION button allows you to select between a
GENTLE wash action and a REGULAR wash action. Press the
GENTLE WASH buton if you require a less vigorous washing
action for the fabric type you are washing.
Note:
REGULAR ACTION cannot be selected for Permanent Press
Delicates or Woollens.
On models fitted with two outlet hoses you can automatically
save the sudsy wash water into your laundry trough.
Models 552, 752
Note:
You cannot save the wash water in the Permanent Press cycle.
To automatically save the wash water:
1.
Place the plug or the overflow standpipe in the outlet drain
of the trough.
2.
Press the SUDS SAVE buton.
Your washing machine will now pump the sudsy wash
water into the Laundry trough at the end of the wash cycle.
Rinse water will be pumped down the drain.
The washing machine will complete the wash cycle
automatically.
IMPORTANT:
Recommended size for Laundry troughs are:
Large washing machine 104 litres
Medium washing machine 70 litres
If your laundry trough is not big enough to hold all of the wash
water, a stand pipe or overflow drain can be fitted.
Standpipes (Part No. 0336-001-726) are available from your
nearest Service Centre.
To Return the Suds
Models 552, 752
On models that have two outlet hoses, to return the save
water to the washing machine proceed as follows:
1.
Make sure both hot and cold water taps are on.
2.
Make sure there are no clothes in the washing machine.
3.
Turn the programme control knob to POWER SUDS
RETURN.
4.
Pull out the knob.
The washing machine will now start the water return cycle
letting some water into the wash bowl and then pumping it
out to clear any air from the hose.
The water in the trough will then be pumped back into the
washing machine.
Note:
This is a normal process, DO NOT turn the washing
machine off during this process.
5.
Remove the plug or overflow standpipe from the trough.
You may now load the washing machine with clothes and
select your wash programme.
