Safty Requirement

Please read this Instruction Manual carefully before

installation and operation of this product.

1. Installation

•

Please read this Instruction Manual carefully before installation or

operation of this product and follow the Instruction Manual strictly.

•

Remove the power supply before any maintenance or repair of

the product.

•

Avoid opening of this product in environment where smoke,

heavy dust, high temperature or dewing may exist. These will

cause the decrease of the image definition.

•

Connect the cables according to the requirement indicated in

the Instruction Manual, or fault may occur.

•

Protect the flame proof joint in maintenance, avoid any metal

fragment or other abrasive substances getting inside the

internal chamber.

•

No disassembly or modification allowed.

2. Environmental protection

•

Components of the products made by our company may pollute

the environment, such as the PCB, electrical elements, plastic

and lubricant, collection and control measurement shall be

taken in maintenance and decommission of the products. These

pollution sources shall be delivered to the relevant authorities

for further treatment, do not casually discard, avoid any adverse

effect to the environment.

1.0 General

YHH30B Series Explosion-proof Fixed Camera Station is

manufactured according to EN IEC60079-0:2018, EN60079-1:2014,

EN60079-28:2015, EN60079-31:2014. It is used in the hazardous

areas which are classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2, Group IIA, Group

IIB and Group IIC gases, temperature group T1~T6, Zone 21

and Zone 22, containing a combustible dust atmosphere or the

combination of either. The product has the characteristics of small

volume, light weight, and ease of installation. It can be used in

petroleum, chemical, jetty, port, mine, spaceflight, war industry

and foodstuff process area.

All associate technical document, drawings and samples of

YHH30B Series Explosion-proof Fixed Camera Station(hereinafter

referenced as camera) are tested and certified by DNV, the

certification numbers are Presafe 19 ATEX 15006X, IECEx PRE

19.0070X.

Specifc Conditions of Use

•

Repairs of the flameproof joints must be made in compliance

with the structural specifications provided by the manufacturer.

Repairs must not be made on the basis of values specified in

tables 3 and 4 of EN 60079-1.

•

The mechanical property class of the fasteners which are

relevant to the flameproof joint should be at least A4-70 with

min. yield stress 450Mpa.

•

Before application, separate ATEX certified EX db IIC Gb or/

and Ex tb IIIC Db IP66/IP68 cable gland should be incorporated.

Unused entries must be closed by suitable ATEX or IECEx

certified blank plugs.

•

Before application, the optical fibre must be connected and

protected according to the guidance in the instruction manual to

meet the requirements of IEC 60079-28.

3.5 System connection

power input

The picture above is the 110~240V a.c. / 24V a.c. wiring method. POE power supply,

please directly connect the network cable to the input end of the built-in POE receiving device.

3.0 Installation and service

3.1 Safety cautions

Check the following items before installation:

a. whether certification number is indicated;

b. check the Ex marking to confirm it is suitable for the

hazardous area application

c. ensure all the components are not damaged and with no

defect that may affect the explosion-proof performance;

d. whether the internal and external grounding are well

connected.

3.2 Cable treatment

To maintain the certification requirement of the units all cables/

conduits must be fitted at the entry, with certified Exd flameproof,

compound filled barrier glands, suitable for the application IP68.

Use cables of rated temperature above 75°C and wires of rated

temperature above 90°C.

3.3 Fiber optic cable processing

This product does not provide an output cable. Users using the

optical signal output version, please weld the incoming fiber and

the fiber jumper provided by our company with a fiber fusion

splicer. The welding place needs to be protected by a fiber

protection tube and placed in the fiber protection bracket . As

shown below.

The insulation-fiber-removed optical fiber placed in the optical fiber

protection bracket needs to be protected by an insulation sleeve to

prevent light leakage.

3.4 Installation of protective shield and cylinder

Since this Ex camera set has high grade of protection level and

the flame proof surfaces are tightly contacted, pay attention to

protect the flame proof joint in installation. The rear cover and rear

part of the cylinder are flame proof surface, no knock or scratch

allowed. For the camera “ DO NOT OPEN WHEN ENERGIZED!”

An insulation gasket is adopted between the drawer plate and rear

cover plate of the rear cover assembly, measure the insulation

performance in cases of disassembling, the measured value shall

be no less than 100M. There is a grounding bolt mounted on the

middle of the rear cover, it shall be well grounded in installation.

3.6 Install camera to platform

See Instruction Manual for the electrical platform.

3.7 Install camera to fixed support

3.8 Flame proof joint protection

Protect the flame proof joint in installation, operation, maintenance

of this product, no knock or scratch allowed.

3.9 Grounding

Internal and external grounding shall be well connected and

reliable.

3.10 Camera Time settings

During product use, the camera needs to reset the time after each

power outage restart.

4.0 Ex structure instruction

•

The maximum surface temperature will no more than 80°C in

normal operation.

•

Toughened glass is adopted in observation port, the toughened

glass has passed the impact and thermal shock test.

6.0 Transportation and storage

The packaged product can be delivered in all modes of

transportation but without exposure to direct rain or snow; it

can be stored for one year in environment of temperature range:

0°C~+40°C and humidity no more than 90%.

8.0 Quality guarantee

For all Ex product we promise 1 years quality warranty.

We provide free maintainence service in the guarantee period

except the follow conditions:

•

Damage caused by improper installation or operation and not in

accordance with this instruction manual.

•

Damage caused by unauthorized disassembly.

•

Thunder or other force majeure natural disasters.

If any other contracts between clients and us exist, we will follow

the promise or regulation strictly.

Annex 1: Use of drying agent

A package of drying agent is provided with accessories. Put the drying agent inside the chamber after it’s well installed and wired. The

place of drying agent put shall be away from the transmission element or electrical connection zone and difficult to slip to other places,

avoid any connection fault or transmission fault caused by drying agent.
