Ifanappliancedoesn’tpowerup,orthe
powerindicatordoesn’tlight,thereareseveral
possiblecauses:
• Defectivedevicepluggedintothe
inverter.
Tryanotherdevicetoseeiftherstone
isdefective.
• Vehiclebatteryvoltageislowerthan
10V.
Runthevehicle’senginetorechargethe
battery.
• Temperatureexceeds158°F(70°C).
Unplugtheapplianceandwaituntilthe
invertercools.See“HeatDispersion”on
page7.Yourdevicespowerrequirement
mightexceedtheinverter’srating.

Positiontheinverterwhereairowsfreely
aroundittoallowtheheattodisperse.The
inverter’sthermalprotectionpreventsitfrom
operatingifitstemperatureexceeds158°F
(70°C).Iftheinvertergetstoohotwhileworking,
itwillturnoff.Operationresumeswhenthe
temperaturedecreasestoabout104°F(40°C).

IgnitionL.P.will,atitsoption,unlessotherwiseprovidedbylaw:(a)repair
theproductwithoutchargeforpartsandlabor;(b)replacetheproduct
withthesameoracomparableproduct;or(c)refundthepurchaseprice.
Allreplacedpartsandproducts,andproductsonwhicharefundismade,
becomethepropertyofIgnitionL.P.Neworreconditionedpartsand
