PREPARATION
1. Attach the appropriate accessory for the clea-
ning task at hand, as shown in fig. 1, until you
hear it click in place. When you connect up the
brush (7), the Vaporetto Turbo Mop will stand
up unaided. To release accessories press the
accessory release button (K) and pull off the
accessory.
2. To adjust the height of the handle (A), turn the
handle height-adjustment ring nut (L) while pul-
ling the handle. When you release the ring the
grip will lock in position.
3. Release the water tank (G) by pressing the two
tank release buttons (E) while pulling on the
tank (fig. 2).
4. Turn the water tank cap (G) anti-clockwise to
open, and fill the tank with demineralised water
(max 600 cc) (Fig. 3). In order to avoid limescale
build up, tap water must not be used.
Do not add other substances or additives to the
tank.
5. Close the cap (F) and put the tank back in its
housing, proceeding to perform the same ope-
rations as described above in reverse.
6. Plug the power lead (J) into a suitable socket
with an earth connection. Hook the power cable
to the anchor hook (M) so that it will not get in
the way while you are cleaning (fig. 4).
7. Position the microfibre cloth (2) on the brush (7).
To attach the cloth (2), just place it with the clea-
ning side resting on the floor, and place the
brush on top (7).
Warning: Do not use the appliance without
the cloth.
USE
8. Put the ON/OFF button (B) in the ON position.
The on/off indicator (H) will start to flash.
The appliance will be ready to produce steam
only 15 SECONDS after you turn it on.
9. When you grasp the grip with the on/off sensor
(A) as shown in fig. 5 the appliance will start to
produce steam. If you take your hand off the grip
steam will no longer be produced.
NOTE: Do not rest the grip on a metal and/or
magnetic surface as this may accidentally trig-
ger steam production.
10.If cleaning particularly dirty surfaces you may
use the turbo function, holding down the “turbo
steam” button (C).
WARNING: when you use the turbo steam function
a blend of water and steam is produced, so be very
careful to check that the surfaces you are cleaning
are not too delicate for this. In any case do not con-
tinue using the turbo function for a long time. The
turbo function will be automatically deactivated af-
ter 2 minutes of non-stop use.

When the water level in the tank (G) is low, the
on/off indicator (H) will start to flash 3 times repea-
tedly and the appliance will start to make more

as described in the section on “PREPARATION”.
PRECAUTIONS FOR DELICATE
SURFACES
Before treating leather, special fabrics and wood
surfaces, consult the manufacturer’s instructions
and always carry out a test on a hidden part or on
a sample of the material. Allow the steamed part
to dry to make sure that no changes in colour or
deformations have occurred.
Please pay careful attention when cleaning woo-
den and treated terracotta flooring as prolonged
use of steam may damage the wax, polish or co-
lour of the surfaces to be cleaned. We therefore
recommend adjustment the steam to minimum (if
your appliance has steam adjustment) and never
direct the jet of steam directly on the surface, but
cover the brush with a cloth. Do not keep
spraying steam in the same place.
Also on particularly delicate surfaces (e.g.
synthetic materials, lacquered surfaces etc.) it is
recommended to always cover the brushes with a
cloth.
PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR THE USE
OF THE ACCESSORIES
BIG BRUSH (7)
Per pulire i pavimenti, posare la spazzola su un
panno in microfibra (2) e passare avanti e indie-
tro senza premere.
The microfiber cloth (2) is designed specifically
for the brush (7) and need not be held in place
with the hooks (8), but you can use a different
cloth by hooking it to the brush, opening the two
cloth retainer hooks (8), folding the cloth and an-
choring it in place with the hooks as shown in fig.
6.
When treating washable vertical surfaces or cei-
ling-mounted light fixtures, cover the brush with a
dry cloth and then proceed as for the floor.
On all kinds of synthetic or wool carpeting on
floors and walls and on rugs of all kinds, Vapo-
retto guarantees optimal hygiene and restores
the original appearance by brightening up co-
lours.
When cleaning rugs and carpets, place the brush
with the cloth hooked onto it in the appropriate
attachment (6) so that it can slide over the sur-
face (fig.7).
BRISTLE INSERT (4)
The bristle insert is recommended for removing dirt
that has built up on very narrow surfaces, roller
blinds, gaps between tiles, bathroom fixtures, etc.
CONCENTRATED STEAM INSERT (5)
The concentrated steam insert may be used to
direct the jet of steam into hard-to-reach corners
which you cannot clean with the brush. This very
useful, irreplaceable accessory is perfect for clea-
ning radiators, door and window frames, bathroom
fixtures and shutters.
CARE OF YOUR APPLIANCE
Before carrying out any maintenance on the
device, always unplug it from the power mains
making sure that the product has cooled down
before proceeding.
To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a
moist cloth.
CLEANING THE CLOTH (2)
After every use, we recommend washing the micro-
fibre cloth following the instructions on the label.
Let the cloth dry before using it again.
CLEANING THE WATER TANK (G)
Clean the water tank as follows:
Remove the tank from the appliance as descri-
bed in the section on “preparation”.
Unscrew the cap on the bottom of the tank and
remove it from the tank (fig. 8A).
Remove the silicone tube from the cap and the
dipping point (fig. 8B).

Remove the cap from the filter (fig. 8C).
Rinse all components in running water and elimi-
nate any lime scale residues.
Reassemble all components in reverse order
from that described above, being sure to screw
the cap onto the bottom of the tank properly so
that the tank cannot leak water.
NOTE: Use the cap off the top of the tank (F) only
when filling the tank with water, not the cap from the
bottom of the tank, which is for maintenance purpo-
ses only.
CLEANING THE STEAM PIPES
If the appliance does not seem to be working pro-
perly or generates less steam, you need to clean
the steam pipes.
AUTOMATIC CLEANING
Connect up the appliance as described in the
section on “PREPARATION”.
Leave the ON/OFF switch (B) in the OFF posi-
tion.
Hold down the ”turbo steam” button (C). After 5
seconds the appliance will automatically go into
“automatic cleaning” mode. Hold down the but-
ton (C) for at least 1 minute. Release the button
to finish cleaning (C).
WARNING: during this operation the appliance will
generate steam mixed with water, so you should
not perform this operation on a delicate surface
which may be damaged.
MANUAL CLEANING
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT
IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUP-
PLY.
You may clean the steam ducts on the appliance
and its accessories with the nozzle cleaning pin (3)
as shown in figure 9.
STORING THE APPLIANCE.
When turned off, always store Vaporetto Turbo
Mop with the brush assembled on it on the sto-
rage mat (1).
