Preface
Welcome
Thank you for choosing this Door Station. This
device is designed to work as Door Station of
inside large building to form a SIP-based door
entry system. Besides taking advantages of IP
technologies, this device links to other SIP
devices. It will work with most IP PBX systems
supporting audio and video, and it can be
configured via a web interface.

AMROAD full range products passed European
CE, USA FCC, BSMI/NCC Taiwan. All these
certificates promise tenants a harmless
modern living environment.
No Electric devices will be interfered with this
product.

NOTICE
The default of this device is DHCP. If you need
to set Static IP, please reference Reset Button in
Installation Manual.
The device will be switched to the static IP
mode and reboot itself when the user has
pressed the reset button for 3 seconds. IP is
"192.168.0.50".

Door bell using
1. Making Calls From Door Station
Using the Door Station is quite easy. You
will see “Door bell” on the front side.
Press “Door Bell” button to make a call.
White LED lights on the top of device will
brighten.
2. Waiting for the reply from indoor, it can
combine with the function the indoor
device has.
The function includes microphone,
camera lens, speaker, RELAY, RFID reader.
So it can provide video intercom and
Electric door unlock.
Audio Announcement
According to some specific situation, AMROAD
P3 will play the audio announcement below,
specially scan the card and security.
Please Scan Your New Cardscanning
Master RFID Card on RFID scanning zone
and user is ready to issue new card.
Your New Card has been Addednew
card is registered.
Fail to Add Your New Cardnew card is
rejected to be registered.
The Door Is Not Closedresidents door
is not closed well. Resident should have
installed Electric Door Lock and
detector-magnetic switch.

Issue RFID card
If you scan the RFID card, AMROAD P3 will
verify the information with the database to
determine whether to open the door or not.
Issue RFID Master Card
If AMROAD P3 have not set the Master card yet,
you can use an RFID card swipe become Master
Card.
We recommend that after the installation is
complete, brush on this card to complete the
opening card and produce Master RFID cards,
and you should keep it safe.
If you would like to reset a new Master Card,
please return to the factory default.
Issue New Card
Scan Master RFID Card on AMROAD P3 First.
Within 10 seconds, scan new RFID card on
AMROAD P3, AMROAD P3 will store new Card
number Into Database.
The new RFID card is authorized and can be
used to scan on RFID scanning zone and open
door.
RFID LED Indicator
The 3-color LED indicator is located under the
doorbell bottom for information and status of
scanning RFID card.
RED
Keep blinkingWhile RFID module is Out of
order.
Blink 3 times RFID card is NOT accepted. (0.5
sec on, 0.5 sec off)
GREEN
Blink 3 times Card is accepted. (0.5 sec on, 0.5
sec off)
BLUE
Blink 3 times Scan Master RFID Card for the
first time to register Master RFID Card. If it is
successful, blue light twinkles 3 times. (0.5 sec
on, 0.5 sec off)
On for 10 seconds Scan Master RFID Card to
Issue New card. After scanning Master RFID
Card, blue light will light for 10 seconds. Within
10 seconds, new RFID Card should be scanned
on RFID reader.

index for the status of AMROAD P3, and we can
follow this status to fix the problem.

Functions Performed by the IP-PBX
Simultaneous Ring
The Distribution Policy is set to Ring All. e.g.
When a visitor calls the group call (say
extension 500), group members (say
extensions 155, 157, and 166) will all ring
simultaneously.
Call Forwarding
Enter a number to which incoming calls are
forwarded when unanswered. The number
could be an extension or a PSTN number with
appropriate outbound prefix.
E-Mail/Voicemail Notification
IP PBX has a built-in voice mail subsystem with
a sophisticated IVR menu. A call to an
extension unanswered could be configured to
enter voice mail recording procedure. After
leaving a message, a notification e-mail will be
sent to the user owns the extension with or
without the message in the form of an
attached WAV file.

WEB UI
Search Tool
The default connection setting type of this
product is “DHCP Client”, it is a typical network
mode.
You can use AMROAD Configurator that we
supplied. This software utility provided by your
local distributor or local dealer which is able to
help you to find your Door Station when using
dynamic IP address.
When this application starts, Search Tool will
search all the AMROAD products automatically
in the same network. Choose the device which
you want to set, click on the right, and
Login Page will show.
WEB UI login
In addition to search the device by Search Tool,
you can input IP on browser, and Login Page
(WEB UI) will show as below.
WEB UI has protected by Login ID and Password.
Input correct ID and password, click Login
bottom and get into WEB UI. The detail setting
information will describe next page. Default ID
and password are admin.
NOTICE
1. While configuring WEB UI (User Interface),
please do not operate this product so as
to prevent this product being out of order.
2. Do not input special symbols “, \, and & in
the fields on the WEB UI. Otherwise, you
may fail to save your setting normally.
3. After configuring some Web pages and
pressing “SAVE” button, you need to wait
a little longer for system to save the
configuration.

Basic Setting
Device IDDevice ID that assigned by
manufacturer.
Date and TimeHere shows date and time
set on this Door Station.
Set New Date and TimeThese fields
allow user to set correct date and time
according to the localstandard. You may
synchronize phone time to match your PC
by pressing “Sync with PC” button.
Time ZoneThis field allows you to select
your time zone to fit your location. You
can enable the Daylight-Saving feature if
needed.
Daylight Saving Time is a way of getting
more light out of the day by advancing
clocks by one hour during the summer.
Network Time ProtocolEnable NTP
Calibration service to allow the system to
calibrate the time with NTP server
through Internet.
NTP Server AddressYou may use your
preferred NTP server by input new address
here.
LanguageSelect “English” or “Traditional
Chinese” for language of Audio
Announcement.

Network Setting
MAC AddressThis is a quasi-unique
identifier attached to most network
adapters.
IP Type(The default value is DHCP Client.)
1. DHCP ClientThe system will
automatically assign your Door
Station an IP address.
2. PPPoEThis allows you to set Internet
connection with ID Account and
Password.
NOTEFor PPPoE connection mode,
we suggest that bandwidth-128kbps
would have better video quality.
3. Static IPYou have to input IP address,
Subnet Mask, Default Gateway,
Primary DNS and Secondary DNS
data.

Login Name
The default ID and password for system login
are admin and admin.
User may change his Login ID and Password on
the webpage by entering new Login ID and
Password.
Reboot
When user needs to reboot AMROAD P3
remotely, just click “Reboot” button on this
webpage starts this action. After confirm
rebooting, Web User Interface will back to the
home page, but the Door Station may take
30~60 seconds to restart its system.
NOTEDO NOT operate the AMROAD P3 while
system is rebooted (reset).

Streaming Setting
Video
BandwidthYou may select preferred
bandwidth for video and audio streaming.
There are 4 options: 128Kbps, 256Kbps,
384Kbps, and 512Kbps.
Codec Priority
FirstYou may select the Video streaming
priority - H.263.
SecondYou may select the Video
streaming priority - H.263 or Disable.

Power Line FrequencyYou may select the
power frequency according to your local
power specifications. Wrong power
frequency may cause the video flicking
abnormally. Default setting is 60Hz.
CMOS Static BrightnessThis item allows
you to adjust the brightness of CMOS
according to the lighting environment of
the installed location. Higher value makes
the video brighter. When it set 2, it means
automatic detection
CMOS Color BalanceThis item allows you
to adjust the color of video. Select
according to the lighting environment
Fluorescent Light, Yellow Lamps and
Orange Lamps.
Fluorescent Light This condition is
suited for white lighting environment.
Yellow Lamps This condition is suited
for indoor yellow bulb environment.
Orange Lamps This condition is suited
for indoor orange color or more red color
environments.

Audio
Code PriorityYou may select the Audio
streaming priority G.711.
SceneSelect Disable, Enable or User
Define.
When User Defineis selected, the
following two items appears
1. Noise Threshold (db)Default is -40.
The voice intensity that is lower than
the value (-40db) will be neglected.
(Acceptable value -40~-52)
2. Target Level (db)Default is -23 The
voice intensity that is around normal
intensity will be processed to be the
value (-23db). (Acceptable value
-20~-32)
VADYou may enable or disable
Voice-Active-Detection function here. The
AMROAD P3 will detect background noise
and send silence packet to the other end if
this feature is enabled. This allows called
party to hear better audio quality.
CNGYou may enable or disable
Comfortable-Noise-Generate function
here. The AMROAD P3 will generate
background noise when receiving silence
packet from the other end if this feature is
enabled. This allows called party to hear
better audio quality.
Speaker VolumeThis item allows you to
select volume of speaker. There are 10
levels, 0 ~ 9.
Internal Alarm VolumeSelect “High” to
turn Internal Alarm Volume Up, or select
Lowto turn Internal Alarm Volume
Down.

SIP Proxy Server
ServiceYou may select Enableor
“Disable” the SIP Proxy Server in the
dropdown menu.
IP AddressYou may fill in the IP address of
SIP Registrar Server here.
NOTE To enable the Peer-to-Peer mode,
the device selects Disable (Close) SIP Proxy
Server.

IP AddressYou may fill in the IP address of
SIP Registrar Server here.
Registration Expire TimeSet the time for
SIP registration authorization the default is
3600 seconds.
Media Timer (0~180)While door machine
had not received any Media Packets from a
remote period of time, this setting allows
AMROAD P3 forcibly stopped talking.
Enter "0" seconds to cancel this function.
No Answer TimerWhen visitor presses the
door bell and no one answer the call, the
AMROAD P3 will ring for a time period. You
may select the time period- 15sec, 30sec,
45sec, or 60sec. Default is 15 seconds. The
setting should be based on your IP PBX.
Incoming Allowed List ServiceWhite List1
to White List5 fill in extension numbers(s)
in these fields to allow these resident’s
SIP-based devices to monitor through
AMROAD P3 by dialing AMROAD P3’s
extension number. All other SIP-based
devices can call in and monitor if all five
fields leave blank.
