Gasoline

Disengageallbladeanddriveclutchesandshiftinto
neutralbeforestartingtheengine.
Donottiltmowerwhenstartingtheengineor
switchingonthemotor,unlessthemowerhastobe
tiltedforstarting.Inthiscase,donottiltitmorethan
absolutelynecessaryandliftonlythepart,whichis
awayfromtheoperator.
Starttheengineorswitchonthemotorcarefully
accordingtoinstructionsandwithfeetwellaway

chute.

nolongerstarttheengine,itissufcientlydry.
6.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplugandconnect
thewireontotheretainingpost.
7.Removethesparkplug,add1oz.(30ml)ofoil
throughthesparkplughole,andpullthestarterrope
slowlyseveraltimestodistributeoilthroughoutthe
cylindertopreventcylindercorrosionduringthe
off-season.
8.Looselyinstallthesparkplug.
9.Tightenallnuts,bolts,andscrews.
10.Chargethebatteryfor24hours,thenunplugthe
batterychargeranstorethemowerinanunheated
area.Ifyoumuststorethemowerinaheatedarea,
youmustchargethebatteryevery90days(model
20656only).
FoldingtheHandle
Foldingorunfoldingthehandleimproperlycan
damagethecables,causinganunsafeoperating
condition.
Donotdamagethecableswhenfoldingor
unfoldingthehandle.
Ifacableisdamaged,contactanAuthorized

2.Loosenthehandleknobsuntilyoucanmovethe
