INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
For Model # P611-077/P611-029 as a portable unit

MOUNTING THE PORTABLE, PLUG VERSION (Fig.1 & Fig. 2)
1. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a
clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for
installation.
2. Use the mounting plate (J) as a guide, mark the location of the
dry wall anchors(C). Pre-drill the holes for drywall anchors and
insert the anchors into the wall.
3. Secure the mounting plate (J) to wall using the screws (B)
(Size: M4*L1”) into dry-wall anchors (C).
4. Align the fixture body (A) over mounting plate (J) and secure
with screws (K) (Size: #5-32N*L0.4”).
5. Install the cord cover bracket (F) to the wall with dry-wall
anchors (C) and screws (B), fix the cord (H) into the cord cover
(I) and snap the cord cover into the bracket (F).
6. Use metal ring (G) & (E) to secure the lampshade (M) & install
the E12 JDD xenon bulb (D) into the socket.
Lighted lamp is HOT!

OR IN JURY TO PERSONS.
WARNING: In handling of Xenon bulb, care should be taken not to touch it with your bare hands. Oil residue from fingertip will
shorten the life of the Xenon bulb. If you accidentally come in contact, wipe thoroughly with a clean, lint-free, cotton cloth. Allow the
bulb to cool for 10 minutes before changing the bulb.
1. Turn off/unplug and allow cooling before replacing bulb (lamp).
2. Bulb (lamp) gets hot quickly! Only contact switch/plug when turning on.
3. Do not touch hot lens, guard, or enclosure.
4. Do not remain in light if skin feels warm.
5. Do not look directly at lighted lamp.
6. Keep lamp away from materials that may burn.
7. Use only with a 50 watts or smaller bulb (lamp).
8. Do not touch the bulb (lamp) at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from skin may damage bulb (lamp).
9. Do not operate the portable luminaries with a missing or damaged guard, lamp containment barrier, or UV filter.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully
inserted. Do not alter the plug.

NOTE: Illustration (Fig.1) on this manual is for installation
purposes only. It may or may not be identical to the
fixture purchased.

SUPPLY CONDUCTORS
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE, HARDWARE VERSION
(Fig. 3 & Fig. 4)
1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check
that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.
2. Shut off power at the circuit breaker and remove the old
fixture including the mounting hardware.
3. Disconnect the wire nuts to remove the cord and plug
4. Secure the mounting back plate (J) to the outlet box
with screws (O)(SIZE: #5-32N*L0.6). The side of the
mounting back plate marked “GND” must face out
(Fig.3).
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 5)
5. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.5, making
sure that all wire nuts (N) are secured. If your outlet has
a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the
fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the
fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate by
using the green screw provided.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 4)
6. Align the fixture body (A) over the mounting plate and
secure with the mounting screws provided
7. Insert the cap (K) into the bottom hole of the Fixture
body (A).
8. Use metal ring (G) & (E) to secure the lampshade (M) &
install the E12 JDD xenon bulb (D) into the socket. (DO
NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!)

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the
outlet box and test the fixture.
FIXTURE SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE PROPER WIRING AND
INSTALLATION.
